The Story of Gusar
The essence of "Gusar" traces back to a daring pirate who once sought refuge for his ship in the tranquil waters of Mlini bay. After sharing countless nights ashore with his crew, indulging in barrels of rum, he discovered a special area among the rocky shores that he deemed a true paradise. Each sunset he witnessed was more stunning than the last, leading him to recognize that he had unearthed his treasure—thus, the "Pirate's Social Club Gusar" was born. Today, we honor his adventurous spirit by inviting patrons from all corners of the world to share in our camaraderie.

Fab spot with some great live music some nights. Buzzing atmosphere and often very busy so seating at a premium. Service was great even when extremely busy. PAN beer on draught is worth the visit alone. Even the "resident pouch" was great company

dolazimo u ovaj kafic vec godinama s obzirom da tu ljetujemo i ove godine nas je neugodno iznenadila opcija placanja samo gotovinom (2025. je?) i ponasanje zaposlenika odnosno mladih konobarica. Kao prvo, na racun su kucale skuplje stvari od narucenih (narucen Martini Bianco - naplacen Martini koktel naravno duplo skuplji). Kao drugo, u nekoliko dana uzeli smo ledenu kavu za van da ju popijemo na obliznjoj plazi sto je bilo okej, dobili bi ju u plasticnim casama koje bi trebali vratiti ili u jednokratnim plasticnim za baciti, a danas kad smo dosli po kavu za van mlada gospodicna nam je bahato odbrusila da se u ovom kaficu ne radi kava za van. Iako smo ju doslovno zadnjih par dana pili i kupili u ovom kaficu. Izgubili ste nas kao musteriju dok ne zaposlite adekvatne konobare, a ne neodgovorne i bahate studente s zrnom graska u glavi.

WATCH YOUR CHANGE. Had to challenge them twice for giving wrong change. Staff are dull can’t be bothered attitude slow service. Other than that great views.

Very nice the first day we arrived then sadly it went downhill. Staff abrupt & was given incorrect change (short changed us) many nicer places to visit wouldn't rush back. Shame cause the decor/location is great.

Pyszna kawa w klimatycznej kawiarni na morzu. Miejsce jest wysunięte w morze, przyjemny wiaterek chłodzi w upalne dni. Podają wodę z lodem do kawy w cenie kawy! Piszę o tym bo po przyjeździe szliśmy promenada i dopiero tu nie żądano dodatkowej zapłaty a ceny kawy normalne, jak wszędzie, może nawet trochę taniej. Świetna obsługa, sympatyczny Pan, pamiętał co pijemy i nie trzeba było nawet zamawiać. Do zobaczenia za rok.

Excellent coffee in a cozy cafe. The place is jutting out into the sea, so there is a cooling breeze and a beautiful view. They are the only ones in the area who serve free iced water with coffee! Great service. See you next year.

2025 CASH ONLY It’s short-sighted to allow only cash payments, because people simply end up spending less. On top of that, the nearby Euronet ATM charges outrageous fees. Given how much prices at the bar have increased over the past few years like everywhere else there should easily be enough margin to support card payments.
