Excellente découverte, la boutique est au milieu des oliviers et est très belle. On a le droit à une dégustation des 5 huiles différentes produites sur le domaine, avec une explication détaillée pour utiliser ces 5 huiles dans différentes préparations culinaires pour accompagner au mieux l'huile avec le mets qui convient. On a même eu le droit a un petit cours express pour reconnaître une véritable huile d'olive d'un mélange bas de gamme. Et tout ça gratuitement. On est donc reparti avec le plein de bouteilles, pour nous même et pour offrir. Un tel professionnalisme est très appréciable ce qui met réellement en valeur le produit vendu qui est plus cher mais qui justifie ce prix par une qualité indéniable. Plus qu'un achat c'est une expérience qui nous permet de découvrir l'huile d'olive.

Great to see a Croatian spot making its impact on the quality of olive oil on a very high level. Even better to experience and learn from staff that are so passionate about their craft and singularly focused on the vision and mission of the establishment. We did the olive oil tasting, learned a ton, enjoyed it, and we were better for it--the entire rest of our trip we were able to see how careful Istra is with their olive oil selections.

Sapevamo che avremmo trovato qualità e gentilezza, ma l'accoglienza è stata oltre l'immaginabile. L'attenzione alla cultura dell'olio, alla sua diffusione nel consumatore perché sia consapevole delle peculiarità di ogni cuvée (e di quanto lavoro c'è dietro) oltre alla notevole qualità delle produzioni, hanno reso la visita un tesoro. Ja, hier kann man sehr gutes Oliven Öl probieren und wenn man mag auch kaufen. Wir kommen gern hier her und wurden in deutsch bedient...Wichtig ist auch, dass man das Olivenöl auch nach Hause bestellen kann.

Ein Erlebnis für alle Sinne – absolut empfehlenswert! Das Olivenöl-Tasting „Taste Istria“ bei Chiavalon war eines der Highlights meines Aufenthalts in Istrien. Schon bei der Ankunft merkt man, mit wie viel Herzblut und Fachwissen hier gearbeitet wird. Die Verkostung war nicht nur informativ, sondern auch unglaublich sinnlich. Man lernt, Olivenöl mit ganz neuen Augen (und Geschmacksknospen) zu erleben. Die Qualität der Öle ist beeindruckend, jedes einzelne hat seinen eigenen Charakter. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Kombination mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten, die die Aromen perfekt unterstrichen haben. Auch die Einblicke in die Produktion waren faszinierend, authentisch, nachhaltig und ehrlich. Wer Istrien besucht und echtes, hochwertiges Olivenöl kennenlernen möchte, kommt an Chiavalon nicht vorbei. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben noch nie zuvor ein Olivenöl Tasting gemacht. Zum Glück haben wir diese tolle Ölmühle gefunden. Bosko hat uns professionelle, authentische Einblicke hinter die Kulissen gegeben. Es war total spannend und sehr kurzweilig, sodass keine Frage offen blieb und man merkte sein Herzblut für seinen Job. Hier bekommt man ein unverfälschtes Erlebnis für Gaumen und Nase mit verschiedenen extra nativen Ölen, die alle exzellent schmecken. Auch die zum Tasting gereichten kulinarischen Spezialitäten aus Istrien waren sehr lecker. Die 30 € für das "Taste Istria" sind es allemal wert! Wir waren auch sehr beeindruckt, wie auf dem Familienbetrieb Tradition und Moderne miteinander verknüpft sind. Alles Gute und weiterhin viel Erfolg für die Zukunft!
