What a wonderful way to start our holiday in Slovenia. We had an amazing wine tasting with Oton, learning about the history and culture as well as the wine of Slovenia. Oton then recommended Villa EVA olive oil cellar which is 100% worth a visit. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful view and easy access to regional wineries 🍷 the owner gave me a bottle of his wine on arrival - I wish that I booked a tasting w him - it was great 😀 but I had already booked a few other tours w friends. Apt has everything needed and a stunning view from a large deck. Wish I could stay a few more days

I'm so lucky that I stayed at Oton's apartment during my visit to the Brda wine region. The apartment itself is great. It has a good amount of space, with comfortable bedding and huge terrace with an epic view overlooking a valley full of vines. The best part of the place, however was the generous hospitality by Oton. He's a passionate and creative winemaker. He welcomed me when I arrived by opening a bottle of the wine he produces and chatting about the region. The next night I brought some steaks that we grilled with his friends who kept showing up. We did a tasting of his wines together which were really interesting and a great reminder of what a unique region Brda is. Oton is well known among winemakers in the region for his hospitality and openness. During my visits to wineries, whenever I mentioned I was staying with Oton I got a knowing smile, often followed by stories of long nights sharing wines at Oton's home. The location of the aparment is perfect for exploring the region's best wineries, most of which are a few minutes away by car. I'm definitely planning to return soon. Brda is one of the most exciting wine regions I've ever visited and the winemaking community there is incredibly welcoming.

Absolutely wonderful evening with Oton and his friends. Great wines, great tasting, and a great time. We only left because we had to go have dinner. Certainly coming back, hopefully to stay in the apartment too.

Magic and very special experience: especially for wine lovers! We had a magic and very special stay at Oton's. He shared his passion for wine with us, being very generous with his time. The view from the accommodation is breathtaking. Oton was very helpful with everything we needed (use of washing machine, picking us up nearby, providing us with hiking map and restaurants recommendations). The accommodation is also very good value for money in comparison with other places in Slovenia. Our only regret is that we could not buy more of his fantastic wines because of lack of space in our luggages. We hope we will be back and warmly recommend this experience!!!

With my girlfriend we are visiting brda every year now for 5 years. Yesterday we got recommendation from very nice and polite waiter in restaurant Bužinel (which is excellent) that we must go to Oton Reya winery. For real. One of the best experiences in my life. Wine are just fantastic (natural, rich flavour) and the owner Oton is one of the coolest guy I ever met. 🤌🏼🤌🏼 just hats off 🤘🏼

Unbedingt besuchen! Wunderschönes kleines Appartement (max. 4 Personen) in einer tollen Weinregion. Oton ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber und Gesprächspartner. Ausserdem ein vortrefflicher Berater in Sachen Wein. Und der Kunst zu Leben. Oder zu philosophieren... Wir waren nur 2 Tage bei Ihm, aber dieser eine Abend mit Weinprobe und leckeren kleinen Speisen der Region ist mir noch immer präsent. Zu unserer Freude hatte er an diesem Abend noch Besuch von 5 sehr jungen Weinbauern, die sich bei Ihm nach gemeinsamer Weinprobe mit uns für eine Reise mit Weinen eindeckten.
