I recently visited the Rak Winery in Croatia and had a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding, especially the platters with homemade prosciutto and various cheeses – everything was delicious. The quality of their wines was exceptional – light and perfect for the Croatian atmosphere. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The gentleman who served us was absolutely fantastic – he shared insights about the wines, allowed us to explore the tasting at our own pace, ensured everything was perfect, and even told us about local traditions. It was a thoroughly enjoyable visit!

Arrived during a thunderstorm with no booking, were greeted warmly and spent a few hours drinking excellent home grown wines with local Croatian cheese and meats. Wine tasting was excellent with knowledgeable hosts. Bought a few bottles of their wine for a great price. Highly recommend.

Jeśli szukacie autentycznego chorwackiego doświadczenia, z dala od zgiełku i tłumów, koniecznie odwiedźcie to miejsce. Ta mała, rodzinna winnica to prawdziwa perełka, położona w spokojnej wiosce, gdzie czas zdaje się zwalniać. Gdy przyjechaliśmy, parking był zupełnie pusty, co tylko podkreślało sielską atmosferę miejsca. W środku powitał nas przesympatyczny właściciel, którego pasja do wina jest wręcz zaraźliwa. Z dużą wiedzą i płynnym angielskim poprowadził nas przez degustację swoich win. Te okazały się bardzo dobre – tak dobre, że wyjechaliśmy z sześcioma butelkami. To zdecydowanie najlepsza pamiątka z wakacji, jaką można przywieźć. Ważny hint dla odwiedzających: można płacić kartą, co jest dużym udogodnieniem. Całe doświadczenie oceniam na 5/5.

Fantastic family owned small winery that if you didn’t know it was there you’d miss it! Their wines were incredibly crafted and the hospitality was out of this world. We stopped after visiting Krka (15 mins). We were welcomed and “split” a 6 course tasting which was essentially a full tasting (and then some) for us. We could’ve stayed all day and I’m sure they would’ve let us ! The cheese, prosciutto and olives were phenomenal and paired great with the wines. Even coming from an olive hater they were awesome. A few wines that you can’t get outside Šibenik including a wild aged rosé that was absolutely delightful. You can tell that they’d truly care about their business and wine making. A hidden gem for sure!

We hebben echt een hele leuke middag gehad tijdens de wijnproeverij. De wijnen waren stuk voor stuk heerlijk en de hapjes waren vers en kwamen van het eigen bedrijf. Wat het extra bijzonder maakte, was hoe de eigenaar vol enthousiasme over de wijnen vertelde. De sfeer was ontspannen en gezellig en we hebben er enorm van genoten. Dit is absoluut iets waar je een keer heen moet gaan!

Beautiful family run winery that truly made my trip to Croatia better. We ate prosciutto smoked in oak, many variations of sheep cheese, local olives and olive oil, homemade bread, and lastly drank the most delicious wine. Not only will you get a wine tasting, you will also be lead through a journey of the RAK family history and the history of the surrounding region. Would highly recommend, and thank you for serving us!

😃👍 No reservation — and everything went perfectly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We arrived spontaneously, without a booking, and were welcomed right away. Sat down, relaxed, and felt instantly at home. The family who runs this place is warm, genuine, and makes you want to stay longer. Now, the main thing — the Babić wine. This is an autochthonous grape, grown only in this region. The taste is unique — unlike anything else. Not just another “good wine”, but an experience worth remembering. There’s something deep and personal about it — raw, real, and unforgettable. I’ve tried a lot of wines, and this one definitely made it into my personal top list. You have to try it. Not for a checklist, but to truly feel it. Live it. Remember it. Great prices. Authentic place. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real taste, not tourist fluff.

Hele fijne wijnen. De host is geweldig en wil de proeverij beslist niet commercieel doen ogen. Dit was dan ook zeker niet het geval. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker terug!

This was hands down the best wine tasting experience we had in Croatia — and we visited five wineries across Korčula, Hvar, and Split! It’s a family-run business with incredibly flavorful, lovingly crafted wines. We stopped by after a long, hot day at Krka National Park, and immediately felt welcomed and relaxed. The owner greeted us warmly, walked us through each wine with genuine passion, and shared stories about his family’s winemaking traditions. You can feel the deep pride and care that goes into every bottle. This place is a true hidden gem and an absolute must-visit. They don’t export in bulk, so you can only taste these special wines here in Croatia—making it an experience you won’t soon forget.
