Our Heritage

The Petrač family, a centuries-old name in the Zagorje region, takes pride in its ancestral heritage. The Hršak breg vineyard is a testament to this legacy, showcasing an undivided 10-hectare plot that has been carefully cultivated over generations. In a landscape where local families traditionally divide their land, our continuous ownership of this vineyard is a remarkable achievement, allowing us to create wines that echo history and passion.

Our Wines

At Petrač Winery, we are committed to excellence. Our flagship wine, Karizma, is a Bordeaux blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and infused with 30% Merlot, presenting a stunning ruby red color with intense purple reflections. We also take great pride in our well-structured Chardonnay and vibrant sparkling wines that have garnered awards and commendations in various international wine competitions.

Vineyard Management

With around 40,000 vine plants nurtured on our 10-hectare vineyard, we utilize the traditional single Guyot growing system that aligns with the geographical and climatic conditions of our region. Our commitment goes beyond producing great wines; we strive to perfect our craft year after year, adapting to new challenges while retaining our rich traditions.
