We had a great experience visiting Winery Milijan Jelić! We reached out by email beforehand to ask about tastings, and their response was quick, friendly, and helpful. Even though we don’t speak Serbian and our host didn’t speak much English, we were able to communicate just fine using Google Translate. We definitely recommend having a translation app handy if you don’t speak the language. Our host was very kind and did a great job explaining the wines despite the language barrier. A tasting of four wines cost 500 dinars, which felt like great value. The wines were delicious, and the orange wines in particular stood out. It's something totally new for us! (And just to clarify: “orange” refers to the color, not the fruit flavor.) If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in for a tasting and to experience a bit of local wine culture.
