Beautiful location with every amenity in the house. Remote rural location is so peaceful, 30 mins drive to town of Ston or Slano. Croatia is amazing and Ivona was so helpful during our stay.

We werden ontvangen door een super vriendelijke en gastvrije Ivona. Er stonden lokale delicatessen voor ons klaar in de vorm van een hapjes plank, vers brood, fruit en lokale wijn en biertjes. In de villa ontbrak het ons aan niks, alles is aanwezig voor een fantastisch verblijf. De villa was super schoon, geordend en voorzien van allerlei luxe. Ivona was ten allen tijde bereikbaar voor advies en tips om de regio te verkennen of om heerlijke verse producten van een lokale boer te bestellen.(kaas, melk, eieren.) Wij hebben met ons gezin van 5 enorm genoten van ons verblijf en raden villa Ivona zeer zeker aan!

The perfect Villa for a group holiday to Croatia! My Husband and I stayed at Villa Ivona with a group of friends this June and had the most idyllic week in Croatia! We arrived at the beautiful villa in the mountains late in the evening but was left with with a warm, welcoming gift from Ivona, the villa’s lovely host, who left us with an assortment of food/drink for when we arrived and for breakfast the next day! The pictures are a true representation of the villa, bedrooms are clean and spacious with great air conditioning, modern bathrooms (with fantastic water pressure!), modern and fully equipped kitchens, a beautiful garden and pool area with plenty of seating areas, and a fab summer kitchen. The villa is split almost like two apartments, downstairs there is the large kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. Upstairs is accessed by the stairs to the side of the villa which leads up to the balcony area and the front door. There is a smaller kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. This worked fine for our group of friends. Every morning a very quiet cleaner, who never woke us, had already cleaned the outside areas including the pool and summer kitchen to keep the garden area tidy. The wildlife around the villa is stunning with amazing views of the mountains, swallows and other small birds nesting nearby and beautiful butterflies around the villa. We stayed 7 nights and went on trips by car to Ston, Propratno Beach and Dubrovnik. The closest shops for groceries are a small Studenac Market about 10 minutes away or a bigger Tommy Market in Ston about 30 minutes away. One day we visited Ficovic restaurant in Hodilje on Ivona’s recommendation and we had an amazing lunch with a beautiful view! We also booked a boat trip through Ivona which was absolutely incredible, we were met by our Skipper in Zaton, and were taken to a few amazing islands and spots for sea swimming, we would highly recommend this as it is discounted for guests of Villa Ivona. This truly is a wonderful location for relaxing and spending quality time with friends.
