I have tried contacting this company Via email and phone several times and they have never replied .Their phone number just cuts you off . I needed support regarding fitting a tow bar. I see that this company was sold & it appears the new company aren't interested in providing customer care . If I could give it a minus star rating , I would .

Do not order from this company. Had to fight online to get promised discount. 10 days before the Towbar fitment they said the fitter wasn’t available and had arranged another fitter to attend on the same day. Day came after trying to contact them the night before only to be cut off at 17.00 so sent a e Mail which gave me the fitters number. Transpire's the fitter that they had booked me in with was for the next day. Received a call from the fitter later in the evening to say they hadn’t sent the electrical wiring. The fitter is very good and will locate a harness at his expense and claim it back but unable to get hold of anyone at Witter by phone or e mail

Bought a Tow Bar Cycle rack off Amazon. Fitted it all together with very poor instructions that jump to a different language half way through. Anyway there may be a part missing AND the reverse light is not working. I contacted them 3 weeks ago but had to do it through their website and use the link to Amazon orders. Still not had any reply. Can not phone them. I and thinking of returning it as it is faulty. Can someone contact me please asap ?

I have had a number of towbars from this company over the years. The after service is brilliant and I recommend them at every opportunity. The staff are excellent and they have a great range of products, yesterday I had a problem fitting my retractable towbar, they helped with advice over the phone and I was able to fix it straight away. Having initially found Witter online regarding the purchase and fit of a towbar, the initial process was made to seem pretty straight forward. After payment was made I was then asked multiple questions that should have been asked before my payment was taken. To add to this, the items I requested where out of stock, again it would have been helpful to have been informed of this prior to payment. After booking my appointment to have my towbar fitted I was contacted the evening before the installation date by the contracted fitter to be told that the electrics for my vehicle are out of stock. The fitting was then rebooked for the following week which was extremely unhelpful. The only communication I have had has been with the contracted fitted, who was very helpful. It would have been nice for somebody from Witter to contact me to make me aware of the delays. Very unprofessional service from start to finish and would highly recommend avoiding these services.

I recently purchased a swan-neck towbar and 13 pin socket direct from Witter, to be fitted by one of their agents. Foolishly I presumed that having requested a 13pin socket to be fitted I would receive 13 pin wiring. Sadly that was not the case! I thought that if one was only going to tow a trailer, most people would request a simpler 7N socket. I accept (with the benefit of hindsight) that the error when ordering the towbar from Witter was mine, because I misunderstood Witter's meaning of the word “universal”. I thought "universal" meant the wiring was not "make specific" and would fit any car. Perhaps I was somewhat naïve in thinking that ordering a 13pin socket with minimum wiring would trigger the question “are you going to tow a caravan?” Therefore, I have to say that some of my disappointment is directed at Witter for not asking that question, and some at myself for thinking that universal meant universal, and not minimal. Consequently I have no electrics to the interior of my caravan. Incidentally, it appears Witter have changed the wording on their website since I ordered my towbar! The one star is for lack of clarity on the web-site.

I purchased their product and had an issue with it. When I contacted them, I was surprised how very friendly all of their employees were. They were also willing to make a phone call to solve the issue asap and ended up making a video conference call just to solve my issue in real time, avoiding email correspondence. The second day they are already sending me a new replacement part. There is not many companies in the world that care about their users as Witter Towbars do. I would also like to thank all the great people at Witter Towbars, especially Jim, for his kindness and extremely professional and productive approach.

Amazing service, I recently purchased a Toyota Avensis Estate car which has a demountable tow bar. But no keys for the lock, I rang Witter after 3pm on the 9th July 2021 & placed an order. The keys arrived by post @ 1pm on the 10th July. (Thank you once again 🙏)
