This protected geomorphological natural monument is nestled at the foot of Mount Mosor and boasts a rich history, having been known to locals since ancient times and opened to the public in 1929.

Ein Ort mit Geschichte und Tradition. Die Tropfsteinhöhle wurde um 1919 vom Großvater des heutigen Besitzers entdeckt und über 10 Jahre hinweg freigelegt. 1929 wurde die Höhle dann der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Näheres zu der Historie erfährt man vom Besitzer persönlich vor Ort, der übrigens sehr freundlich ist. Vor Ort gibt es einen Snackautomaten für den kleinen Hunger, im Garten vor der Tropfsteinhöhle kann man wunderbar entspannen. Die Höhle kann man auf eigene Faust erkunden, jede Ecke ist gut beleuchtet und frei zugänglich. Ein Muss für jeden Spliturlauber. Einfach wunderbar und auf jedenfall empfehlenswert. Es ist nur Barzahlung möglich, ein Ticket für Erwachsene kostet 10€, für Kinder 8€. Für uns ein super Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis.

Lieu magnifique, vieux de 65 millions d’années, bien préservé et pas trop de touristes, ce qui permet de bien profiter de la visite. Nous sommes restés 30-45 minutes pour tout bien voir. Il fait frais dedans, environ 15 degrés.

Increíble cueva de 65 millones de años, encuentras estalactitas y estalagmitas muy antiguos, que crecen de 1cm cada 350 años, según nos explicó el guía, que es el nieto del hombre que descubrió la cueva. Muy acogedores y simpáticos, precio asequible para un sitio magnífico, poco masificado y un poco fresco! (15°C en el interior de la cueva)

Hello reader. The Vranjaca cave is a nice place to visit just outside Split. The cave is not so big but it is very nice to visit. You should count 30 to 45 min max if you want to take your time. As it is far you should have a car because public transport is not so often and taxi to go there and back to Split is around 60€. Entrance cost 10€. Visit this cave yourself I don't want to spoil it with photos :)

Erg mooie grot die door 2 broers wordt beheerd. Geen massaal toerisme maar kleinschalig. In de grot is het 15 graden dus een trui of vestje is aan te raden. 107 mtr diep is de grot dus heel wat trapjes omlaag en weer omhoog. Maar zeker de moeite waard. Wij hebben zoiets nog nooit gezien. €10,- entree

Špilja Vranjača – gdje tišina priča, a kamen pjeva priče starije od ljudi. Pod Mosorom, u srcu Dalmatinske Zagore, skrila se čarolija oblikovana milijunima godina. Korak po korak, svjetlo lampe otkriva čudesne dvorane stalaktita i stalagmita, dok svježina zraka nosi mir iz nekih davnih vremena. Ovdje priroda šapće polako, a ti je slušaš u tišini… i ostaješ bez daha. Iako je špilja sama po sebi fotogenična, teško je fotografijom prenijeti ovaj nevjerojatan doživljaj.

Great place to go. As soon as you start down the steps the cool air hits you and stays cool or the time down there. Some great views in the cave and good photo ops. Well worth a visit. Spent about an hour there all in all. Easy to get to if you have a car.

15 minut jazdy kolejka w głąb jaskini, potem godzina spaceru i powrót kolejką, zdjęcia w ogóle nie oddają uroku jaskini.. obowiązkowy punkt zwiedzania.. bilety do kupienia na miejscu, można płacić kartą, zniżki dla osób niepełnosprawnych, należy ubrać się cieplej, bo w jaskini dość niska temperatura i w czasie spaceru, można poczuć się przemarzniętym

Krásná chladná jeskyně, kterou vlastní milí bratři, kteří umí poutavě povídat o historii místa. Osvěžili jsme v parném letním dni, uvnitř jeskyně je stálá teplota 15°C.
