Brnastrovički vrh

No paths up there, expect thorn bushes and loose rocks on the way. I enjoyed some minor injuries. 😅 Totally worth it though. Back home, I watched some videos about horned vipers in Croatia (Vipera Ammodytes). Noticed that the biotope up here is exactly were these vipers can be found. I thought about it on the way up and around, but still continued. I would (will?) be more careful next time, and consider bringing hiking poles for better balance and finding out the depths before jumping down into the grass from the rubble. At times it was 50cm (20 inches) deep so I could easily twist an ankle or do something worse. But, I will never back down on a hike into the mountains regardless. :)
