Veliki Grad is the highest peak on the island of Mljet and a great spot for anyone who enjoys hiking and being in nature. The trail is mostly easy and well-marked, passing through classic Mediterranean terrain. Toward the top, it gets a bit more challenging with some steeper and rocky sections. Trail markings can be a little confusing near the summit, but it’s still very hard to actually get lost. Once you reach the top, you get one of the best views on the island, the whole of Mljet is visible, like it's laid out in front of you, only thing that brings it down a bit is the telecommunication equipment that's installed at the top. There's also a visitor book where you can sign your name and see who else has made it up there. Make sure to wear proper shoes (no flip-flops) and bring enough water, especially if you’re hiking in the heat. It’s a solid hike with a great payoff.

Toller Aussicht. Ein steiler Anstieg führt vom Ort hier hoch, aber der gut markierte Weg lohnt sich. Festes Schuhwerk empfohlen. Parken beim Tommy. Oben ist eine Plattform vorhanden, auf der die sucht genossen werden kann.
