About Modrič Cave
The cave is situated at 29 meters above sea level and is easily accessible, requiring only a ten-minute leisurely walk from your vehicle. Each tour lasts approximately two hours, during which you will be well-equipped with specialized caving gear: helmets fitted with carbide or electric lights, and safety overalls. Under the guidance of our experienced mountain and cave guides, you'll delve into a realm of extraordinary underground wonders.
What to Expect
Prepare to be captivated by the striking stalactites, stalagmites, and magnificent pillars that adorn the cave's interior. As you navigate through the enchanting land of speleo formations, you will encounter remarkable structures that evoke the shapes of jellyfish, cuttlefish, and the mythical Red Queen, among other fascinating surprises crafted by nature's hand. Nasza przygoda rozpoczęła się w piątek o 10. Nasza 5-osobowa rodzina wraz z 6 innych turystów przez 2h podziwiała wspaniałą jaskinie. Kilka wąskich przejść dodaje dodatkowych emocji - jednak wszystko jest bezpieczne i dobrze wytłumaczone przez wspaniałą przewodniczkę Mariannę.

Amazing guided tour with two wonderful tour guides into the depths of the caves. We contacted them by mail and they replied swiftly and after a short phone call we could iron out the details to join the tour the next day. After meeting them we had a short walk (and spotted a turtle) to the cave entrance. Once inside there are a few more narrow passages but they’re very doable and it’s all the more rewarding to climb through and enter these impressive spaces. There’s guides are funny, enthusiastic and highly informative and makes sure everyone is safe and comfortable. Highly recommended for a once in a lifetime experience exploring caves. A sense of adventure and lifelong memories are guaranteed.

Visiting modric cave was an amazing experience! The cave is as natural as it can be, undisturbed by humans. So you'll have the best experience inside seeing the beautiful speleothems created by nature for millions of years with just the light on your helmet. Our guide Marijan was really nice and funny. I learned many things about the cave and its history from him. If you want to experience absolute darkness, this is the best place to be! I highly recommend visiting this cave if you're in and around Zadar!!!

I had a great experience! Beautiful last activity before I had to head back to my homecountry😍🌼 It’s a beautiful cave! And the fact you have to crawl and climb to reach certain places adds so much to the whole experience! Not to worry, it’s very safe and doable. The tour guide (Marijan) is very friendly, funny and passionate about his job. He checked up on all of us and made sure we were safe at all times! Beautiful experience and a great group of people! 🙏🏽

Wir hatten eine großartige Tour mit unserem Guide Marian! Er war super freundlich, hat alles sehr verständlich erklärt und wusste wirklich viel über die Höhle. Man merkt, dass er seinen Job mit Leidenschaft macht. Außerdem war er sehr aufmerksam und hat immer darauf geachtet, dass niemand ausrutscht oder fällt – Sicherheit steht bei ihm an erster Stelle. Pridružujem se pohvalama za vodiča koji ovaj posao ne "odrađuje" nego istinski gušta i nastoji posjetitelje zaista nečemu i naučiti uz puno strpljenja,stručnosti i šaljivih opaski. To nie jest typowa komercyjna wycieczka z przewodnikiem. To świetna przygoda, gdzie w przygotowanych do tego strojach możesz się ubrudzić. Przewodnik (Pan Marjan) ma dużą wiedzę, bardzo dobrze mówi po angielsku i ma świetne poczucie humoru. Naprawdę polecam! Marta i Karol

Die Besichtigung ist fantastisch gewesen. Nur in kleinen Gruppen und nur ein Mal täglich wird eine Tour angeboten. Am Treffpunkt bekommt man den Blaumann und einen Helm. Danach geht es mit einem kleinen Spaziergang zur Höhle los. Es gibt 3 enge Stellen, wo ein wenig Geschicklichkeit gefragt ist, aber der Tourleiter unterstützt einen bei jeder Bewegung. Die Höhle selber besteht aus sehr vielen Kammer die einfach riesig sind. Das ist wirklich unvorstellbar, wie viel Platz sich unter der Erde befindet. Auf alle Fragen bekommt man hier eine Antwort. Der Tourleiter macht das seit 21 Jahren, sodass er in einer lockeren und humorvollen Art alles erklärt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier definitiv. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis und ist absolut empfehlenswert.

I booked the visiti to Modric Cave with my wife Sofia in May. When I first read the reviews, I was eager to visit the Cave, not only because of its majestic nature but because the strong recommendations of people talking great things about our tour guide Marijan. I must say that I have never seen somebody so committed with nature, both in a natural and a scientific way. He really knows all the facts about the Cave, from historical and technical points of view. He is an open book ready to be explore...like the cave itself! And to add it up, Marijan is really open, speaks great English, takes good care of you and is a great storyteller. Croatia should be really proud to have such an amazing nature guardian like him, guarding such a sacred place. Modric Cave is a must stop when visiting Croatia!

Eine echte Empfehlung. Nur mit Führung welche man vorab telefonisch buchen muss. Sollte keiner direkt ans Telefon gehen, keine Sorge es wird auch zurück gerufen. Das Team bestand bei uns aus Zwei erfahrenen Führern die mit viel Witz und Informationen glänzen konnten. Maximal eine Führung Pro Tag von Max. 15 Personen. (Unsere Gruppe waren 10 Personen) Ein paar Kleine Hürden gibt es allerdings in der Höhle. Aber mit der Anleitung der Zwei lief es alles wie geschmiert und gefühlte Stein Geburten sind auch dabei 😅 Die Höhle ist in natürlicher Atmosphäre Kurz einfach Super Ausflug Danke an Marian und Marianne

Unglaublich cooles Erlebnis. Auf der Suche nach einer Aktivität bei Regen sind wir auf diese Tour gestoßen. Die Höhle war ziemlich beeindruckend, mit engen Durchgängen und kleinen Kletterpfaden und man fühlte sich durch den Guide immer sicher. Sein Humor war das i-Tüpfelchen und hat das Ganze abgerundet und zu einem Event gemacht. Würde ich auf jeden Fall noch einmal machen.

Endlich mal keine typische, touristische Höhlentour. Sondern eine, die ein richtiges Erlebnis schafft! Bisschen klettern, bisschen krabbeln, staunen und lernen. Unser Guide hat durch seine Anweisungen uns nie unsicher fühlen lassen. Und lustig war er auch!! Absolut empfehlenswert!! Lasst euch also nicht von der unscheinbaren Website anrufen. Das größte Hindernis für die meisten wird nämlich wahrscheinlich sein den Hörer in die Hand zu nehmen und einfach mal anzurufen :) tut es 😃
