Zero stars. The worst shopping experience ever. We were buying a T-shirt for my husband. We approached the cashier. At that exact moment, the cashier walked away and looked at us like we were aliens, as if we were doing something strange by standing near the register with an item. Eventually, he seemed to understand that we were there to buy the T-shirt. He began removing the security tag that’s normally found on any clothing item in any store. The tag wouldn’t come off easily, so he called another saleswoman. She started forcefully yanking it off, and I began to suspect there might be a hole left behind. And sure enough, there was. The cashier quickly started folding the shirt and ringing it up, but I said, “No, no, no, let me check first.” In response, they threw the shirt onto the counter, rolled their eyes, and started insulting us in Serbian. In the center of the capital city, in the middle of Europe. In a country where the borders are open and tourism is supposedly encouraged. The salesperson was annoyed that the customer didn’t speak their language and use international one? Really? Even if the cashier didn’t speak English, were phone translators suddenly unavailable? They were also making snide comments behind our backs just because we refused to buy a damaged item. Unbelievable. These people really shouldn’t be working in customer service. I’m serious.

I asked for tax free, but the employee at the cash register rudely claimed that there was no tax free option. When I told her that they had an agreement with GlobalBlue, she claimed that it was a temporary problem. I think they said no because they didn't want to bother with it even though there was a tax free option, and they could have registered manually.
