The store itself is actually very nice — clean, well-organized, and with good prices, as far as I can tell.
However, there's one thing I simply cannot accept and that I found quite unpleasant yesterday.
I bought items worth 686.70 RSD and paid with a 1,000 RSD bill. A very young man with a darker complexion was at the register. He gave me only 600 RSD back — which is not a small difference. When I returned to the counter, he seemed clearly irritated, impatiently grabbed the money and the receipt from my hands, and handed me 70 RSD more — but I was still 16.70 RSD short.
This didn’t feel like a simple mistake — at least to me, it seemed suspicious, because the math is just too obviously off. Especially since I clearly don’t speak the language and had already returned once, it gave me the impression that I was being taken advantage of. And I was there with the same cashier the day before, obviously not having a clue about the language or the money, it was my first day in Serbia, so I acted not very self assured.
I’m writing this so that other customers, especially tourists, double-check their change. Situations like this should not happen — even in an otherwise good store. Unless it was just a mistake, which I don't believe.
