A replica of the Emonian, a Roman statue discovered in 1836 during the construction of the new classical Kazins building next to the Square. The statue is on a tall pedestal and smaller than I expected. See the info boards below the statue explaining the location and remaining ruins of the ancient Roman city of Emona. This is the predecessor of Ljubjulana, and the foundation stone is believed to be laid buy the Roman emperor Augustus in 14 A.D.

zlati kip emonca je bil najden ko so izkopavala temelje za kazina(to je roza stavba zravn) oblečen je v togo tako se je obleka imenovala , po oblačilih kaže na človeka iz 4. stoletja . stoji na dorskem stebru in lepim okrasjem, original pa hrani narodna galerija :D
