after staying at other cheap locations around Europe this one will definitely stand out, not because the rooms were any better or the location was very central, but the owner. seeing that dubrovnik is a city that gets overwhelmed with tourists, this man was overjoyed when we arrived. he took me out to the balcony and pointed out the local restaurants and cafes that were his personal favorites and gave me a free beer, whilst other places I've never even seen an employee. never felt such hospitality in a different country before.

We stayed at Villa Kate Dadić in Dubrovnik and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. A special thanks to our host Niksa, who went above and beyond for us. We had booked an Uber for 3:40 a.m. to get to the airport, but it got cancelled just minutes before the scheduled time. In a panic, I called Niksa — at 3:40 in the morning — and asked for help. Without hesitation, he showed up within minutes and gave us a ride to the airport. Thanks to him, we made our flight. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend staying here!

We arrived very early, and was able to store our luggage and start our sightseeing while the room was getting ready. The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying there and if you don’t mind walking, then all the sights in Dubrovnik is withing walking distance. Bolt/Uber is widely available as well.
