The food wasn’t that bad, however the service was not okay and the waiter wasn’t nice. The translations on the english menu are imprecise, so there can be suprises. Not good at all, the lemonade is a scam too!

Mi a parton ültünk le, sajnáltam is szegény pincéreket, mennyit talpalhatnak naponta. Maga az étterem egy hangulatos kis utcában van. Az étel finom, kiszolgálás relative gyors. Nekem a köret egy kicsit kevés volt, de hát nem ia vagyok átlag méret. 😆

Capo plate for two with cheese and meat was great. I ordered Trogir Pašticada with gnocchi-traditional. And I really don‘t want to be disrespectful, maybe I’m not familiar with the culture. But the photo I‘ve uploaded of it doesn‘t really look very appetizing to me. That‘s how it arrived. (Obviously I took a bite of the meat but the gnocchi were untouched) Maybe it‘s the sauce that‘s over the entire plate, maybe it‘s how the gnocchi were arranged, I don‘t know what put me off. After I tried the meat I was a bit let down because it was promised as slow cooked and marinated. Not „so dry you have to take a sip of water after every bite“ The sweet and sour sauce wasn‘t my thing but that‘s not what‘s influencing my review because I‘m sure it‘s great. Just not my taste. The gnocchi were a bit overdone for my liking but they were alright. All in all I‘m glad I finished the plate. Usually I don‘t want the meal to end. For €26 euros I‘m about satisfied but not overjoyed. My partner had Capo tagliatelle and it tasted better than what I had. Was with seafood. I know it‘s not muscle season but does that mean I have to pass on almost 10 vongole muscles that were still closed? A bit dissapointing. The noodles were fine and the sauce was good too. It was good for a single meal but the choices we made today didn’t make us want to come back right away. Thank you for the food. Wish you good business.

I cannot say enough about Capo Trogir, particularly the wonderful service from Zoran (GM) and his team. I was traveling to Trogir with a large group of musicians, and the staff worked with us in advance to set up a wonderful menu filled with local selections (the grilled Adriatic tuna was a highlight!). When we arrived to the restaurant, a garden setting tucked into the ancient streets of Trogir, we realized that many more musicians had come than those who had originally signed up. The staff adjusted to the mayhem we caused (a reasonable person would have been furious, but they were incredibly gracious), and allowed all of us to have a delicious and memorable meal. I am so glad that we chose Capo Trogir and would go back if we were fortunate enough to return to the town.
