Restavracija Mangrt se nahaja v čudovitem Bovcu, znanem po reki Soči in kulinaričnih inovacijah. Pod vodstvom mladega in izkušenega kuharskega mojstra Tomaža Sovdata, je restavracija postala ključna točka na kulinarični zemljevidu Slovenije. Ponosimo se z ekipo, ki s svojo kreativnostjo ustvarja izjemne jedi iz lokalnih in sezonskih sestavin.

Ekipa
Kuhar Tomaž in njegova ekipa, vključno z Yuki, sta pridobivala izkušnje pri priznanih restavracijah, kot sta Hiša Franko in Dobra Vila Bovec, ter prinašata svežino v našo ponudbo.

Restavracija Mangrt se nahaja na naslovu Log pod Mangartom 57, Bovec, kar omogoča brezskrbne obiske tako lokalnim kot tudi tujim gostom.

Na Restavracijo Mangrt imam res lepe spomine iz otroštva, ko smo tukaj bivali med šolo v naravi. Danes tukaj kraljuje Chef Tomaž Sovdat, ki te s svojo ponižnostjo popelje v vrhunsko kulinarično izkušnjo. Jedi so avtorske in odlično združujejo lokalne surovine, ter bogato chefovo znanje pri pestri uporabi kuharskih tehnik. Na sredin večer je bila restavracija polna do zadnjega stola, kar pa ni zmedlo uigrane ekipe. Mladi Nejc, ki je skrbel za naju je odlično opravil svoje poslanstvo in me navdaja z upanjem, da ima gostinstvo še svetlo prihodnost. Res vse čestitke ekipi restavracije Mangrt.

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant par hasard car il se trouvait juste à côté de notre hôtel. Le personnel était très gentil et nous a expliqué le menu en détail. Nous avons pris l'apéro dehors, avec une belle vue sur la montagne. Le menu était très bon du début à la fin avec de bons produits. Décoration assez décalée, nous étions dans une ancienne maison avec des décos vintage 😊 Très bons vins également !

One of a kind experience. The food, service, wine pairing and the view (don’t miss the view from the backyard of the restaurant) all are top notch and the price is very reasonable. I am very glad I found this place. You should definitely try the full course and wine pairing. What a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere.

Exceptional tasting menu made from locally grown and produced products. Chef was happy to adjust for vegetarian preferences. Friendly, multilingual, helpful staff. The dining room is a little noisy when full of guests. Located just north of Bovec and easy to find. Aperitifs were offered in the pretty garden with a stunning view of the Julian Alps. We thought the delicious dishes are comparable to Michelin star restaurants we have visited. We highly recommend this restaurant!

It was absolutely fantastic! The food was so delicious, the waitress and the chef were very kind and competent! Also the interior was so beautiful with great details! Sehr gute Küche hatte das 6 Gänge Menü war alles ein Genuss und es gab auch 3x einen Gruß aus der Küche. Und zum essen gab es auch immer die passende Weine dazu. Absolut empfehlenswert.

What an amazing place. We had dinner there last night and it was wonderful. Not only is the old building and the interior (the building is over 200 years old and has always been a restaurant) sight in itself but the food that Chef Tomaž and his team prepare is simply amazing. We had the 6 course meal with accompanying wine tour plus 3 greetings from the chef. Every single dish was crafted to the highest standards, so it is impossible to pick a favorite course. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. The ambience the food the team everything is superb. We cannot wait to come back in different seasons to try different dishes.

Un piccolo ristorante in una storica gostilna, restaurata con amore e attenzione. Piatti che usano con sapienza i prodotti del territorio arricchendone le peculiarità con qualche tocco esotico. Servizio gentile e attento. Ottimi i pani, da menzione il dessert e la piccola pasticceria. Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.

If this is an area close to you or if you are traveling close by, make a reservation, you will not be disappointed. The food and experience rank as some of the most memorable of my life. The time, knowledge and creativeness of the food was stunning. I would highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat. This was my first time in Slovenia and WOW!!!
