Located in the heart of Primosten, at the scenic square of Rudina, Pansion - Restaurant Kamenar has been a delightful family-run establishment since 1974. Our inviting restaurant celebrates the rich tradition of Dalmatian cuisine, providing an exceptional dining experience both on our spacious open-air terrace and within our cozy indoor area.
Restaurant Overview
Our restaurant opens from March 1st until the end of October, welcoming guests with a charming atmosphere that can accommodate 70 to 80 patrons. We take pride in offering original Dalmatian recipes complemented by a modern culinary twist, creating a diverse gastronomic program that caters to all tastes. Come and savor the essence of Dalmatia in every bite.
Accommodation Options
At Pansion Kamenar, we provide comfortable accommodations including 1 apartment and 8 stylishly decorated rooms designed to host up to 20 guests. Our offerings consist of 6 "Classic" rooms and 2 "Superior" rooms, all equipped with modern amenities such as wireless Internet, air conditioning, and a TV. Guest parking is conveniently located nearby to enhance your stay.
Welcome Bar
Adjacent to the restaurant, the Welcome bar serves as a tranquil haven for lovers of Dalmatian specialties. Guests can indulge in local delicacies paired with traditional beverages, sparkling wines, and our esteemed Primosten Babić. Classics such as prosciutto, cheese, and salted sardines are always on the menu, ensuring a delightful experience reflecting the spirit of Dalmatia.
Group Receptions
We are also equipped to host group receptions, including seminars or event gatherings, allowing us to accommodate from 80 to 100 guests. Our dedicated team is here to help make your event successful and memorable.

Pricey but well worth it, the pasticada main course was the best meal I ate in quite some time. The tuna tartar was also excelent. Only watch out for events on the main square next to it, they tend to be too loud.

The food is great but relatively expensive compared to the other ones around in the old town. I don‘t know if it is worth the price compared to the others but the food was nice and there was nothing to complain about! Pivo was especially good.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wirklich tolles Essen! Die Fischsuppe war aromatisch und perfekt gewürzt – man schmeckt die Frische. Die Pasta mit Trüffel war ein absoluter Genuss, wunderbar cremig und reich an Geschmack. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Két fancy hely közül ez az egyik a környéken. A felszolgálók hozzászoktak az yacht-os, nagyon tehetős vendégekhez, így eléggé 'karótnyelt' a hangulat, nem volt őszinte a kedvességük. Az ételekben semmi kiemelkedőt nem tapasztaltunk, pedig sok félét rendeltünk, ár-érték arányban nem ajánlom.

Ein tolles Lokal in der Altstadt von Primosten Das Essen ist gehoben und wirklich ausgezeichnet. Wir waren an 2 Abenden dort und jedes mal ein Gaumenschmaus. Der Kellner und das ganze Team sehr nett und bemüht. Das Ambiente traumhaft. Wir kommen sicher wieder Danke

Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite mal in dem Restaurant. Einmal haben wir Wolfsbarschfilet gegessen und beim zweiten Mal hatten wir Schweinefilet. Es war beides mal Top! Sehr gutes Essen, sehr guter Service und der Gruß aus der Küche war Tunfisch Paste mit Baguetten war ebenfalls perfekt und super lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!

Quelque chose ne va plus en Croatie... La poule aux oeufs d'or touristique va bientôt s'effondrer. Comment est-ce possible de facturer 3,50€ de couverts par personne ? En principe dans un restaurant il y a des couverts pour manger, ce n'est pas un extra. Ensuite, l'astuce de proposer un peu de pain et un pâté de thon fade, sec et sans intérêt est à la limite de l'honnêteté car en réalité ce sera facturé, ce n'est pas un petit cadeau de la maison comme on pourrait l'imaginer. Les plats sont plutôt bons, la cuisine est fine. Mais là encore, les portions sont plutôt petites et il faut tout payer ! Exemple : Pour un mixed grill affiché à 25€, il faut en fait compter 3,50€ de couverts, 25€ pour le plat et 7€ pour un accompagnement (car il n'y en a aucun avec le plat). Ce qui ramène le prix de l'assiette à 35,50€ ! Et c'est sans compter l'astuce du pain facturé. Le vin de la maison est plutôt bon mais là aussi, totalement hors de prix. Et ne vous fiez pas aux prix de la carte du site web, ce sont les prix de l'an passé, tout a été augmenté. Donc en résumé nous avons payé plus cher qu'en Suisse (!!!) pour bien moins. C'est inacceptable. Étant moi-même Croate, je suis d'accord sur le fait que la Croatie était trop bon marché par le passé mais ce n'est pas une raison pour commencer à racketter les touristes maintenant. Quand ils ne viendront plus vous réaliserez vos erreurs.

Kamenar is my favourite restaurant in Primošten and I have been to all the good ones, having visited 6 times in 6 years. The quality of produce is excellent, the staff all care about providing you with a good experience. The squid ink rizot/risotto is the best I have had on the Dalmatian Coast.
