Last year we went to Zakan and Opat. We were eager to visit Smokavicz this year to complete the trilogy. We booked three days ahead and the staff were very efficient. We were helped tie up our boat by staff. Although tight there is plenty of room and is deep enough for anything but the largest yachts. The floating pontoons are new and so are the lazy lines. We had onshore power after 6pm, but no water. The restaurant is more traditional than Zakan. But is elegant and the setting is very pretty. The starter plate was very extensive and quite interesting. Lots of fish options. For the main course we chose a Skorpion fish and it was cooked under the bell. It was very hearty and tasty. We chose the house wine which was very nice. The mooring is included in the dinner price. Taking all things into account the price was reasonable. Overall we had a good time. The following morning we went to the nearby piccolo restaurant for breakfast as we weren’t sure that Smokavic was open for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our time at this iconic restaurant.

Das Essen war gut aber teuer! Fisch-Vorspeisenteller und eine Fischpekka jeweils für 4 Personen und dazu zwei Flaschen Wein (Malvasia) kostet 450 € Wenn man den Bootsplatz miteinberechnet relativiert sich der Preis wieder ein wenig. Die WC‘s sind sauber und i.O. Nur Barzahlung, also immer genug Bares mitführen….

Sorry mittlerweile total überteuert, für 8 Personen Vorspeise 260 € auch wenn es mit Tunfisch war. 0,5 Liter Weißwein 20 € kommt Hausweinqualität, Fischpeka 360 € 8 Personen, anlegen keinen Strom. Vor 2 Jahren auch vor Ort, da hat Preis Leistung noch halbwegs gepasst. Sorry aber da werden 2025 noch einige überrascht werden
