Teljesen véletlenül keveredtünk ebbe az étterembe! Remek volt! A steak isteni volt és a tonhal is. A pincér lány nagyon kedves volt és nagyon jól beszélt angolul. Csak dícséret nekik!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Travelling from the island Krk to Dalmatia offers an interesting option to take the motor road “Jadranska Magistrala”, famous for its route following the beautiful Croatian coast. It provides nice stops like Novi Vinodloski, Crikvencica and Senj, even some hidden gems from a historical point of view (Fortress Nehaj) or geographical (fjord-like bay Zavrtnica), but in terms of gastronomy, it is full of places where you stop once and never come back, especially if you are looking for a stop easily accessible from the Magistrala. For me, the Old School was a personal choice, but without any expectations regarding the gastronomic aspect of the visit. And I got a total surprise. Family Došen runs this place in a non-pretentious manner, with a family approach to operation and service. However, it is the food that knocked my socks off. Carefully chosen from own and neighboring sources, it brought in extraordinary freshness and tastes, where every morsel is a pure reminder of how food could or should taste. The menu was full of seafood, from octopus to tuna, but no less surprising were the additions of tomatoes, potatoes, and chard, as well as the spices and flavors used or created by the young chef. The last surprises came from the choices of wine, with both listed and non-listed items that could be hard to find even in some pretentious restaurants on the coast. Discussions around food suggest that surprises may also come in other forms (meat, desserts), but I had to leave something for the next time. This spot is a must whenever on Jadranska Magistala, and the choices might be over a type of food, but for me, more thinking about overnight in spacious apartments rather than driving further and limiting myself to consumption and joyous hosts. And very privately, consideration of coming by driving the motorbike.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Der Service ist super sowie die Speisen sind unglaublich lecker. Wir sind das zweite Mal dort und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Hier schmeckt man Kroatien.

Nettes verstecktes kleines Restaurant. Familiengeführt mit netter Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und bemüht obwohl alle Tische voll waren 👍 Sehr gutes essen und Top Qualität und bei den Preisen muss man nicht jammern 👌

Purtroppo era molto ventilato e abbiamo dovuto mangiare dentro ma abbiamo passato comunque una bellissima serata. Il cibo era spettacolare: materie prime freschissime, cozze, alici marinate e acciughe strepitose. Il polpo pescato da loro e preparato all'insalata era eccezionale. Sono rimasta molto colpita dalla qualità dell'olio d'oliva, davvero buonissimo. Prezzo giusto: circa 40 euro a persona con antipasto per due persone, una spigola con contorno, mezzo chilo di cozze, un dolce, acqua, pane e mezzo litro di vino. Ottimo! Grazie mille a Manuela per la gentilezza e per averci fatto passare una serata incantevole! Speriamo di tornarci presto.
