Most definitely a tourist place that unfortunately came off feeling like a bit of a trap. The food was ok, but with other great meals in the area, this felt like a meal wasted. The mushroom soup was tepid, a bit bland, and in a very hard and stale tasting bread bowl that couldn't really be eaten all the way. The stuffed squid were ok, though a bit rubbery and the sides and garnish were very boring. The stag steak was a bit over cooked but largely hidden in the heavy sauce and again the sides were bland. One definitely got the impression that food was prepared in advance for the large tourist groups and not made very fresh.

Yes, it is pretty touristy and you wouldn't get a local in here, but it's got some fun kitsch Slovenian decor and they do serve traditional style dishes and local house beer (which is pretty tasty). Not a bad option if you're looking for a reasonable dinner, but just know it is a tourist place.

Very traditional old school restaurant centrally located with good food and professional service. Ambiance is a bit dark (there is no natural light). I especially liked game dishes and mushroom soup. It is pretty meat oriented, but has few vegetarian options as well.

Ottimo ristorantino (il nome significa Falco) nel centro della città vecchia. Consigliabile il dolce a nove strati "prekmurska gibanica" tipico del posto. Anche le specialità di carne molto buone. Al personale non guasterebbe un corso di accoglienza al cliente... Come minimo qualche sorriso in più.
