We've been to Nimis for the first time in August '23 and I think it's going to be the first of many enjoyable meals. They have a huge menu; it is actually heavy too. The portions are veeeery generous. This is also reflected in the price, however, just know that you will get the worth of however much you pay for the plate. We were thinking about getting the Fiorentina steak. unfortunately it was out of stock, but at least we learned that the minimum order is about 750g. If you have a small stomach like mine be careful about not pushing yourself too hard to finish what's on the plate, you have to consider the desert. They also have more than a few desserts in the menu, but I guess the most famous and fancy one is the Nimis Palacinke which is a huge crepe (palacinke) filled with a fluffy cream. I actually didn't realize that there was cream in it from the photos on here, it was a nice surprise. And the whole thing is covered with red berry sauce, warm red berry sauce. Sharing one of these with 4 other people was the right choice after all the meat we had, but I must say you can also go there to have the palacinke in case of dessert emergencies. Next time I will get one for myself.

Metto due stelle perché il posto è davvero carino e non posso giudicare tutto il menù ma quello che ho mangiato non mi è piaciuto per niente. La grigliata mista Nimis era dura e con un cattivo gusto..... Il costo nella media ma nonostante il locale ormai era quasi vuoto e noi fossimo una tavolata di 10 (quindi non eccessivamente grande) ci hanno risposto un pò sgarbatamente che non era possibile fare conti separati perché lo scontrino era già stato fatto... (non è vero perché ce lo hanno fatto davanti agli occhi 10 minuti dopo)... Diciamo che non credo ci tornerò per come ho mangiato

Absolutely lovely place with caring customer service at the table, our waiter was very well spoken in English and Italian (not his mother tongue). Food came at a good speed considering it was pretty busy, only comment about the food is overcooking the steaks a little bit... Overall a lovely place with great staff and decently priced food and drinks!
