Garden Restaurant se nalazi na 10 metara od parkinga Plodine, što je ogroman plus. Lokacija restorana je odlična, dosta blizu centra a ni u jednom trenutku se nismo osjećali da smo u centru Novalje. Dolazak u restoran je bio oko 12, taman kad se otvorio, pa nije bilo nikakve gužve. Vrlo ugodan i opuštajuć ambijent. Terasa je velika, prevladava zelenilo i ima puno hlada. Ima dosta zraka i s obzirom da je vani bilo vruće nije bilo sparno. Osoblje iznimno ljubazno i nasmijano. Vidi se da su konobari već par sezona u tom restoranu po pristupačnosti i srdačnosti i nekako s lakoćom pristupaju gostima. Nachosi su super te dolaze uz tri vrste umaka: salsa, guacamole i tartar umak. Salsa umak je malo ljut, ne pretjerano, dok je guacamole i tartar blag. Tortilje nisu preslane, taman kako treba. Za glavno jelo smash burgeri, koji su bili sočni i ukusni. Peciva vrlo mekana i djeluju domaće. Burgeri su sami po sebi manji no pecivo ih čini zasitnima. Pommes standardno okej, pekarski krumpir isto. Hrskavo i zlatni žute boje. Čekali smo otprilike 30ak minuta, što je u redu s obzirom da su taman tsj dan otvorili. Piše da se porcije ketchupa i majoneze naplaćuju, ali nama nisu naplatili i dobili smo po dvije vrećice ketchupa po osobi. Sve u svemu jako lijep ugođaj i definitivno preporučam, doći ćemo opet!

The restaurant is nicely designed and offers a pleasant atmosphere. However, the burger did not meet expectations: the meat was tough, and there was very little sauce, which affected the overall experience. Additionally, the plate was cleared while I was still eating, which should be avoided in proper service.

Essen gut, Ambiente schön. Nur war es sehr ärgerlich, dass man eine große Rechnung als Gruppe nicht aufteilen konnte, da die Kellner dies schlichtweg nicht tun wollten. Waren 17 Leute und am Ende musste einer für alle bezahlen anstatt dass die Rechnung aufgeteilt wird. Sehr schwacher Service dadurch.

English below Touristenfalle – überhöhte Preise bei fragwürdigem Service Dieses Restaurant wirkt wie eine klassische Touristenfalle. Für drei Personen bestellten wir drei Burger, eine Portion Spare Ribs und Chicken Wings – am Ende zahlten wir über 100 €, wurden jedoch nicht satt. Die Portionen waren überraschend klein und standen in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Zusätzlich wurde für jede einzelne Portion Ketchup oder Mayonnaise 1,50 € berechnet – und zwar für kleine, abgepackte Tütchen, wie man sie aus Fastfood-Ketten kennt. Besonders kritisch: Auf der Rechnung wurden die Chicken Wings gleich viermal aufgeführt, obwohl sie nur einmal bestellt wurden. Dies wirkte nicht wie ein Versehen, sondern wie eine gezielte Methode, um den Preis unbemerkt in die Höhe zu treiben. Wer hier nicht genau kontrolliert, zahlt schnell deutlich mehr als erwartet. —- Tourist trap – overpriced with questionable service This restaurant feels like a classic tourist trap. We were a group of three and ordered three burgers, one portion of spare ribs, and chicken wings – yet the bill came to over €100, and we still left hungry. The portion sizes were surprisingly small and did not justify the high prices. To make matters worse, each individual packet of ketchup or mayonnaise was charged at €1.50 – and these were just small, pre-packaged sachets like you’d find at a fast-food chain. Most concerning: the chicken wings were listed four times on the bill, even though we only ordered them once. This didn’t seem like a mistake, but rather a deliberate attempt to inflate the total. If you don’t check your bill carefully here, you could end up paying far more than you should.
