If you came to taste some of the old Yugoslavia, this is the most "Balkan" place in town. It used to be better, when they sold Sarajevo Beer (now they sell their own brand, but it's some cheap ripoff) and they used to grill the food with more care, now it's half-raw sometimes, depends on how many guests there are. This is a curse of too popular places - they can't keep up with their own popularity so they start cutting corners, but also get lousier and lousier reviews - who cares as long as the place is full, heh? So my advice - forget about the chevapi - they are overrated - go for their coffee and baklava or ratluk or other authentic sweets and feel the true Balkan comfort.

Cevapcici at its best In a very quiet and cozy location, serves the best food I've had so far in Slovenia. The staff is very friendly and patient, the food serving is more than decent. I recommend this place with all my heart and if you group a good meal with visiting the tunnels, you'll have a great afternoon. PS. Make sure you check the tunnel's visiting schedule.
