Best meal in Croatia by a mile! Great service and atmosphere. I had the best olives I’ve had in my life, which they picked on the premises. And my wife said the slow cooked lamb (the Peka) was the best lamb she’d ever had!

We found this restaurant from Google with a high rating. The restaurant is a 15-20minutes walk away from the busy town centre and hardly noticeable because it is hidden inside some bushes. I believe it is focus on local customers. We had a Octopus Gulash and Grilled Pork Neck. The octopus is very tender and the pork tastes very good. The environment is very cosy service is extremely well. Highly recommended.

My wife found this on Hvar for dinner on our first night and now I don’t want to go anywhere else. The flavor is amazing and the portions are generous. We had mussel spaghetti and lamb chops. Book ahead for the goulash. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this lovely restaurant.

Food tasted like homemade (blitva especially), octopusy goulash is a must! Prices are affordable, waiters friendly. There is a parking space, too, but only few minutes from Hvar's riva, so you can walk.

Merci pour ce repas ! À hvar, difficile de ne pas tomber dans un restaurant touristique, ou l’on est pas traité comme tel. Ici, ça n’a absolument pas été le cas. Dès notre appel pour réserver, ou le serveur/patron? A été très sympa ! Nous avons manger les côtelette d’agneau qui étaient vraiment bien cuite. Le plat était copieux et c’est appréciable ! Tout le repas, les serveurs ont été remplis d’attention à notre égard et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison ! Un grand merci, je recommande !! The 2 French Guys ;)

Savršen spoj svježine, tradicije i vrhunske usluge. Obiteljski restoran koji oduševljava svojom predanošću svježini i kvaliteti. Ono što se nama svidjelo je dnevna promjena jelovnika, što garantira da su sva jela pripremljena s najsvježijim namirnicama tog dana. Tako da smo cijeli naš odmor ručali tu. Za večeru smo uživali u peki od hobotnice, koja je bila apsolutno savršena, mekana, sočna i puna okusa, jelo koje se mora probati. Do restorana se nalazi njihov vrt odakle dolaze mnoge namirnice direktno na vaš tanjur. Osim izvanredne hrane, usluga je bila odlična. Vlado je bio izuzetno stručan, i spreman dati preporuke, što je dodatno obogatilo cjelokupno iskustvo. Toplo preporučujem!

Vale mesmo (MUITO) a pena!! 5/5 Viemos 7 de férias à Croácia e passamos 3 dias em Hvar. Sem dúvida nenhuma que é o melhor restaurante da cidade! Comida excelente e em boa quantidade (somos homens e mulheres na casa dos 30 anos), o dono do restaurante muito simpático, o ambiente muito familiar e acolhedor e o preço super justo (pagamos 30€ por pessoa com vinho, aguas e sobremesa!) Além disso, um dos nossos amigos fazia anos e, já após a cozinha estar fechada, a única coisa que havia era melancia onde o dono nos providenciou uma fatia com uma vela para que pudéssemos cantar os parabéns. Ninguém lhe pediu e ele próprio percebeu a meio do pedido que o nosso amigo fazia anos. Aconselhamos mesmo que venham até cá. Não ficarão desiludidos!

Experiência 5⭐ O dono foi muito simpático, empático e interessado de onde vínhamos e se estávamos a gostar da experiência. Reservamos mesa no dia anterior e encomendamos a comida com antecedência (aconselhavel pois ela é preparada na hora) e era deliciosa. Escolhemos a Peka de cordeiro e tanto a carne como as batatas estavam de "comer e chorar por mais". No final ofereceram um licor de nêspera feito por eles, muito bom. Um sítio a não perder em Hvar!

Bistro Ero was truely a highlight of our visit to Hvar. We went for dinner having pre-ordered lamb Peka and it was extraordinary. The serving was super generous. The family run restaurant had an atmosphere that was very welcoming, attentive and made for a great experience. We went back for lunch a day later and again the meal was superb having ordered beef soup, beef and potatoes and stuffed peppers with mashed potato. Amazing location just up from HVAR square. Totally worth the few extra minutes out of town.
