Welcome to Altrokè, a Mediterranean restaurant inspired by the rich flavors of Istria, located in the historic heart of Ljubljana, at Stari trg 19. Our establishment prides itself on celebrating both the history and modern lifestyle of this enchanting city. The name “Altrokè” translates to "for sure" in the local dialect, signifying gratitude and affirmation.

Žal še ena od mnogih gostiln v centru, ki v poletnih mesecih prednost dajejo predvsem oz. izključno tujim (paketnim) turistom. Kot domačini se nismo počutil dobrodošli, pozornost je bila namenjena skupini turistov, postrežba je zamujala in ni bila primerna ceni. Naslednjič gremo raje drugam.

We went there for the 18€ lunch menu. The soup and main course were excellent. The dessert was OK. All in all I would definitely recommend this place. The only comment I have is that the service felt a bit rushed, they managed to serve us the 3-course menu in less than 40 minutes.

Het restaurant op zich heeft een leuke uitstraling. Wat me wel aansprak. De borden werden mooi gepresenteerd. Het eten was super miniem en niet warm! Wat wel spijtig was. Het personeel mist ervaring en elan naargelang de prijzen die ze hanteren. Spijtig !!

So lovely we came back for a second visit! Big thanks to Milan, who served us - he was very knowledgeable about the fantastic Slovenian wines on offer, and made perfect suggestions to match our dishes and our tastes. The food was sensational - especially the octopus carpaccio, the venison, and the beef spare ribs. Book here when you visit Ljubljana!

Een erg leuk restaurant nabij het kasteel. Hier hebben wij gekozen voor het 3 gangen lunch menu voor €18. Het eten was erg lekker en zeker waar voor je geld. De service service was ook naar behoren.

This restaurant receives a lot of excellent reviews. It is not cheap. The menu indicates the main of venison includes truffles. There wasn’t a hint of truffle in my dish and it was served on a very chipped plate. I reported both of these to the wait staff but received no feedback. My other dishes were excellent.

Ottimo ristorante ubicato nel centro storico di Lubiana segnalato anche nella guida Michelin si mangia bene ed i prezzi sono decisamente convenienti per la qualità presentata.... ottimo il pane fatto da loro...ma anche il resto consigliato vivamente
