Pop's Pizza
Pop's Pizza je bil ustanovljen leta 2019 in predstavlja najboljšo reprezentacijo "Pizza Napoletana" izven Italije, čeprav se zgodba začne že nekaj let prej. Pregledali smo ulice stare Napoli in se naučili vse trike za pravo "Pizza Napoletana". Medtem ko radi eksperimentiramo s različnimi tehnikami, se držimo načel tradicionalne neapeljske izdelave pice, kot jih predpisuje združenje Verace Pizza Napoletana. Ljudje nas sprašujejo, kaj naredi pravo "Pizza Napoletana", in radi rečemo, da "veš, ko jo vidiš". Naše pice predstavljajo najboljše iz Naplija, spoštujoč njegova dolga leta zgodovine, hkrati pa uporabljamo moderne tehnike in kombinacije sestavin, ki vas bodo presenetile. Vsak dan začnemo z izdelavo našega "impasta" s pomočjo najboljše italijanske moke. Nato testo fermentiramo do dva dni z uporabo lastnega naravnega kvasa, ki ga skrbno varujemo. Uporabljamo le najboljše kombinacije regionalnih italijanskih sestavin za izdelavo nepozabne pice.

We dropped by this place on a whim, and wow, what a great experience it was! The sourdough crust was delicious and fired perfectly. My personal favorite was La Gomorrah and I couldn't get enough—it's clear that not just Greg but his entire team take a lot of pride in their craft. From the drinks to the food to the friendly staff, we had a bunch of fun here and will definitely be back next time we're in Ljubljana!

Excellent experience at Pop’s! We were lucky enough to get a seat right by the kitchen. We could see the team as they cranked out pizzas with incredible speed and smell all the different toppings. The music was on point and we enjoyed sipping on cocktails and craft beer during our wait. The pizzas were incredible, with very fresh ingredients. The staff and owner were kind and offered many touches to our night to enchance our experience. Will make a point to return!

Super pizzeria qui mérite sa réputation. Nous avons aimé la décoration, l'ambiance, la musique, le sourire de l'accueil, le prix abordable, et surtout .. les pizzas !! Très très bonnes.. Vraiment délicieuses même. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas eu le temps de revenir durant notre séjour (préférant essayer d'autres restaurants, et parfois à tort d'ailleurs). Vraiment très bonne expérience culinaire !

Amazing restaurant! The food is delicious, the pizza dough is fluffy, products taste fresh and the atmosphere is youthful. Only you have to wait around 40 min for the pizzas to be ready but it was definitely worth the wait !!!

While visiting Ljubljana in August me and my girlfriend were looking for a nice restaurant where we could have dinner, so we decided to check Pop’s Pizza out. It was definitely a disappointment to say the least. The outside area was almost full but we were able to find a free table for 2 people where we sat down. In a matter of seconds an unfriendly waiter rushed to us, demanded that we stand up and noted that we have to wait in a line to be seated. We understood his demands and went to stand in the line which consisted of only 3 families and no couples. As we were the only couple in the line and there was only one free table for two I tried to explain to the waiter that we were the only couple waiting in the line and asked him why we are still required to wait. Instead of listening to me he told me to step back in to the line and stop complaining in a very unfriendly way. I insisted and was trying to explain that I was just wondering why we are waiting if there aren’t any couples in front of us, whereupon he lost his temper and told me to “f off if I don’t want to wait”. If it weren’t for my girlfriend stopping me, the situation could have escalated at this point. Not to mention that after we decided to leave the waiter proceeded to push the free table together with a another table for 2 where a couple was already eating although the couple had more than enough space. So instead of letting 2 people sit at a free table he just pushed them together so that no one else tries to sit there. We left very unsatisfied and angry. An incredibly unpleasant service in a restaurant that is considered one of the best in terms of pizza was a big surprise to us. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and will never even go near that place again.

Best hamburger we had in a long time! We were her in July 2021 during our camper eurotrip. If you like burgers this is the place to go to in Ljubljana. Also a large selection of local and Slovenian craft beers
