The sausage which the put inside the chicken burger sucks!! Be sure to ask for no sausages!!! Also a burger costs 20€, which is a lot considering the burger is no larger than 5-6 pieces of garlic!!! By the way the toilet nearby costs a 1€ to enter, and is disgusting (has no golden decorations or expensive art pieces) so avoid it by all costs. Hungarians are said to be present, so definitely pay attention and keep yourself safe out there!

Vorsicht, erst nach den Preis fragen. Zwei unterdurchschnittliche Hamburger für 20 ,- Euro ist echt sportlich zu mal man den Preis erst nach der Bestellung erfährt. Sieht bisschen nach Touristen Abzocke aus.

You won’t find this place on most maps - which makes it even better. Anchored just behind the ticket booth at the Stinica ferry stop (second white kiosk on the right), this unassuming grill shack delivers exactly what you didn’t know you needed: perfectly grilled ćevapčići (if you don’t know what those are, you’re already lost, aren’t you?), extra-crunchy, perfectly fried ranch fries, and an ice-cold local draft beer served in a proper German-style heavy glass - all while you wait for your ferry. It’s not fine dining - not even close. But in that moment - sun on your face, car engine cooling, ferry scheduled in 25 minutes - it might as well be Michelin-starred. The flattened meatballs and ranch fries hit all the right notes: smoky, salty, and served without fuss. The mood? Even better. You’re on the edge of vacation, and this is the unofficial welcome party. The burger, as a backup option, isn’t as photogenic as the one I had at Famiglia in Zadar, but honestly- it just tastes right. Hot, juicy, and designed to make you forget you ever cared about Instagram. I suspect it’s a family-run gig - multi-generation style - because it has that friendly, no-rush, “you hungry? we got you” vibe. Say hi, ask about the weather, compliment the food, and definitely mention that you’ve tried the same local draft beer in Plitvice National Park (the only other on-tap location in the country, according to the proud host). You might score a smile, a laugh, or even that lager taken off your bill. No promises, but hey - it’s worth a shot. This little grill stop won’t just fill the wait before your ferry - it might end up being your favorite memory of the whole trip. Cheers!
