Desde el primer minuto te das cuenta que el lugar es diferente al resto de restaurantes de la isla. Darko y su familia nos dan la bienvenida a su patio que hace de comedor al aire libre con pocas mesas para crear un ambiente familiar. En la reserva previa por teléfono Darko te pregunta que Peka quieres comer Pulpo, Pescado, ternera o Cordero y cabrito. La Peka es un método tradicional Croata donde se hornea la comida bajo una tapa de hierro cubierta con brasa. Acompañamos la Peka con una ensalada, para tomar en función de esta se acompaña de diferentes vinos los cuales estan muy buenos. Durante la cena charlamos con las mesas y como digo el ambiente es familiar y cercano. Toda una experiencia para disfrutar tanto culinariamente como personalmente. En cuanto a los precios si hay dudas preguntar al reservar. Pero esta dentro de un precio normal para la calidad, eso si no es un sitio fashion ni de postureo. Se viene a disfrutar de la comida y el ambiente. Para recomendar y repetir. Volvemos 1 año más tarde, esta vez en familia. Auténtico disfrute, poder compartir nuevamente con Darko y su mujer la velada, conocer un poco más sobre la isla y degustar la peka de pulpo así como los vinos. Este año postre incluido, una tarta de queso con cerezas deliciosos.

Just skip it….definitely not worth it. Overpriced, not prepared with care and interest , not an enjoyable experience - only an overrated tourist trap. If you want good quality traditional food in a genuine setting- go for the restaurant at the crossroads instead.

Don’t go there. First of the price is outrageous for what you get. I paid 50€ for a glas of juice and an unknown meat and something looking like cuscus, and that’s isn’t even what I ordered, I ordered fish. The meat was in some type of sauce and the way it was served looked like prison food. The owner made me uncomfortable because he started talking about inappropriate things that I did not want to hear. Don’t go there it was a total scam and a unpleasant experience. I would give 0 stars if I could

hobotnica in grdobina pod peko za 2 osebi, pol lit.vina, ena solata in ena sladica 115 Eur. Sicer dokaj okusno, porcija mala, kruh odličen, vse je plavalo v preobilici olja. Plavac mali, korekten. Vse je Močno PRECENJENO. Ambient Ok, čistoča...slabo. ŽAL NIKOLI VEČ !!!!

We were very lucky to find this place! For 35years Darko runs his farm in the middle of an island. The dinner was made and served by him and his wife. The goat meat, salad, warm bread, wine and desert were delicious! All made of self grow ingredients in that farm. It’s was unforgettable absolutely authentic experience and the price of 50euros per person for all this was totally worth it! Call few days in advance to book a dinner

Very sad to write but most of Agro-tourisms on island Vis have become synonym for fraud. 10-15 years ago Darko was a hidden, off the beaten path place where you could feel the old authentic Vis island village atmosphere, eat local dish called "peka" and drink home made wine. In the old days this was a must do and see thing on island Vis. The host Darko was happy to welcome you in his terrace as very few tourists knew about him and you felt almost like he is your friend. This was his side job, better said, a hobby and all the negative things like dirtiness, clumsy service, bad wine, average food etc... looked charming and easy to forgive. Now, a decade later, nothing changed. Besides this simple meal "Peka" and a glass of really bad wine cost 60€ per person with no starter, desert. Unfortunately the greed has taken it's part and all the charm this place had in the past is gone. The overpriced bill was, like always before, written on a piece of paper. So no tax, VAT, whatever the damn thing is called. It's a pity the bill ruined the experience because sometimes this fckn simple Peka dish can be really tasty. Better go to Konoba Dol. Darko is just another smiling tourist rip-off guy.
