Une perle cachée. Ok, le restaurant est un peu en retrait, sans vue sur la mer. Mais la cuisine y est vraiment excellente. Le steak de thon accompagné d'une salade de patates froide était une tuerie. Si vous cherchez avant tout à éviter les pièges à touristes et à manger correctement, pour un prix lui aussi correct, allez-y sans réserve

We arrived and they told us that they would save us a table for 20 minutes. A larger group arrived and told us that they no longer had a table for us. The service is unfortunate, don't waste your time here. Response: First of all, we waited the 20 minutes. The family that has arrived has waited next to us, they had no reservations, because I have personally asked them and they have told me that you have told them the same thing as us. And if there has been miscommunication anywhere, it has been on your part, since we were at the door with the other family when you gave them the table to ask for explanations and you turned your face, which is very rude. If you prefer groups to couples because you make more money, it is said in the first place and does not waste people's time.

We took a water taxi from Korčula to Otok Vrnik, and it was such a fun little ride — only about 7 minutes, but definitely a highlight. We’ve done water taxis before, but this one was especially enjoyable. The skipper recommended Vrnik since we had already been to Lumbarda, and we’re so glad we followed the tip! Important heads-up: bring euros in cash — there’s no ATM or card payment option on the island. The island itself is absolutely beautiful — quiet, peaceful, and mostly made up of private homes with boats docked in front. It felt like stepping into another world. There’s a nice walking path from the dock that takes about 5 minutes or so to reach the little food spot we were heading to — a total hidden gem. We all ordered burgers and fries, and they were delicious — simple, well-made, and felt like a home-cooked version of fast food. Really hit the spot. Prices were fair too. Next time, I’m definitely trying the risotto or squid — they looked really good. I wish I had taken a photo of the menu for next time! If you’re staying in Korčula, Lumbarda, or even Orebić, I highly recommend making the trip. My tip: come mid-morning, bring your swimming gear, enjoy the beaches, and then grab something to eat. It’s the perfect way to soak up the Hrvatska island atmosphere — peaceful, local, and unforgettable. Definitely planning to return!
