Nous sommes venus pour un sorbet à la mangue, alors que nous demandons à la serveuse si il s'agit bien d'un sorbet cette dernière confirme. En bouche, nous nous rendons compte qu'il ne s'agit pas d'un sorbet mais d'une glace au lait de vache. Nous expliquons l'erreur à la serveuse qui reconnaît tout de suite l'erreur et s'excuse. Mais intervient alors la chef d'équipe qui n'est pas prête à corriger l'erreur. S'entame alors un bras de fer cette dernière souhaitant que nous payons de nouveau pour échanger la glace.. Une serveuse désolé et une manageuse dépassée. De plus la glace finalement obtenue n'a rien d'exceptionnelle finissant ainsi notre mauvaise expérience.

Razočaravajuće bezukusan sladoled. Očekivala sam više od kao poznate slastičarne u Zagrebu. Crna čokolada nema okusa, a kesten kao da jedem smrznute komadiće krumpira, isto okusa kestena nigdje.

Kolači su im stvarno fantastični, svaki put me oduševe! Uvijek su svježi i ukusni, a sastojci se osjete. Posebno mi se sviđaju razne kombinacije okusa koje nude, zaista su kreativni. Svima bih ih preporučio, jer su zaista nešto posebno. Nadam se da će nastaviti s ovim izvrsnim radom!

The most overrated cake shop in Zagreb. The ice cream is okay at best but the cakes taste like they are made of sugar coated layers of cardboard connected with layers of margarine. Better visit any of the better local pastry shops and skip the 15-minite wait for an average scoop of ice cream.

Time for dessert in Zagreb—and of course, we had our hearts set on Vincek. As always, they offered a wide variety of ice creams, cakes, and cookies. I went for the classic Zagrebačka krempita, and the rest of the group chose their favorite ice cream flavors. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the condition of the place. Inside was uncomfortably hot and humid—except near the ice cream counter. It really took away from the enjoyment of our desserts. Even more concerning was the cleanliness. Tables were left uncleared, there was ice cream on the floor, and the female washroom had an overflowing garbage bin. We had a guest with us, and this definitely didn’t leave a good impression. I’ve always loved their desserts, but this visit was disappointing. When food is being served, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment is essential. I hope this was just a one-off, because Vincek is capable of so much better.
