Huvudingången till parken. Det är riktigt vackert! En liten färja tar dig mellan huvudingången, ön med klostret och restaurangen och Den lilla bron och tillbaka. Väldigt lite promenad behövs ner till färjan, ca 5 min nerförsbacke. Vattnet är väldigt varmt men grumligt. Så skönt! Vi tog färjan från Ston kl 13 och det var alldeles för sent. Vi fick stressa och hade inte tid att njuta. Kan ni ta en tidigare färja, så gör det, för färjan tillbaka går 19:30! Vi hann bara vara i nationalparken och han inte med att bada i havet, som är kristallklart vid färjeläget med massa vackra stora fiskar. Har vi möjlighet så vill jag komma tillbaka för att bada i havet och besöka Odysseus grottan.

Le parc national de Mljet occupe l extrême partie ouest de l'île. Les deux lacs d eau sont très salés. L eau est plus chaude que la mer. Sans être remarquable, le parc national est intéressant à visiter. C est bien organisé. Le ticket d entrée permet de prendre les bateaux électriques pour rejoindre le monastère bénédictin.

Park velik površinom sa uređenim i obilježenim stazama i putokazima. Za zaljubljenike u prirodu i hodanje. U sklopu parka i dva jezera za kupanje u predahu od hodanja. Prekrasno mjesto

Bardzo ciekawe miejsce, dobre do wypoczynku z zaskakująco dobrą infrastrukturą. W cenie wejściówki do parku jest rejs statkiem do trzech miejsc w tym wysepki z restauracją i małego mostu. Cena za osobę 25 euro dorosły / 12 student / 8 dziecko. Istnieje możliwość wypożyczenia rowerów za 20 euro za 2h lub 40 euro za rower elektryczny za 2h. Trzeba pamiętać o promie na wyspę. Cena za prom z 4 osobami to 49,90 euro.

Bogom dana prirodna bogatstva koja nisu su stanju održavati. Sve je zaraslo, nepristupačno, visoke suhe trave, nisu u stanju niti pokositi stazice. Klupice su pune mahovine i neuredne, ako su uopće čitave. Ugostiteljska ponuda minimalna. Gleda se samo kako naplatiti gostima, a ništa ne vratiti prirodi, nego je samo iskorištavati.

Naravnim lepotam NP Mljet ni kaj dodati ali oporekati. Kdor je bil na tem čudovitem otoku v južni Dalmaciji in ni obiskal Mljeta, je veliko zamudil, bodisi pri ogledih Velikega in Malega jezera s sposojenim kolesom, ali lepo vzdrževanega benediktinskega samostana iz 12. stoletju na otoku Svete Marije. Na tem turistom razvajajo brbončice v dobro vodeni restavraciji Melita. Tudi mi smo bili z njeno kuhinjov in posrežbo zelo zadovoljni. Tako okusne orade na žaru in jadranskih lignjev že dolgo nismo jedli, za kar ima zasluge tudi nasvet vodje strežbe, za katero in njene sodelavce je očitno vsak gost kralj. Tako so komentirali tudi Francozi in Angleži za sosednjimi mizami. Ekološko osveščeni obiskovalci NP Mljet, ki se pripeljejo z električnimi avtomobili in računajo, da ga bodo lahko med obiskom napolnili na dveh priključkih na parkirišču, so bili 18. junija razočarani, saj polnjenje ni bilo mogoče. To se verjetno ni zgodilo prvič niti zadnjič, saj je receptor turistoma iz tujine zatrjeval, da NP Mljet s polnilnicami nima nič. Mogoče pa ima kaj z električnimi vlakci, ki so jih obiskovalci dolgo zaman čakali, da jih popelje ob jezeru. K sreči pa vsaj ladjice delujejo tako kot je prav, da se lahko obiakovalci vrnejo na izhodišče....
