Unresponsive throughout - we had questions that went unanswered for a whole month, as well as needed help on arrival day as our flight got severely delayed but no one answered our messages l throughout the day/delay with updates we were sending about ETAs nor answered our calls when we finally got there. We had to try and sleep outside, on the sun beds, until they finally made an appearance in the morning (around 8 am I think) just saying "check in at 3 pm until 10 pm only" - which we already knew, of course, hence sending them updates given we had no control over flights being delayed. We had to hear that a flight delay is "not their fault" when we clearly tried our best to send updates and call them throughout the whole nightmare we went through. They cancelled one of our bookings via Booking.com allegedly saying "no show". We had to ask Booking to intervene and help with the communication (they don't seem to speak English when it comes to helping, only applicable for being rude apparently) because I had to work in a couple of hours and they were saying for me to "chill" after I barely slept the whole night and just needed a room to try and get some sleep and get ready to work - which was also a topic of fun for them as the lady said "why work?", insinuating that I should be just on holiday there. I was really upset and felt hopeless in the whole situation. I travel a lot and had never been mistreated like this in my entire life. When we booked it said they accept cards on the description but only cash when you get there(they tried to ask for Euros but local ATMs would only give you Kunas), an extremely rude couple running the place, strong sewage smell on the bathroom. We were a group of 4 people - a couple and two friends that booked two different rooms. The lack of respect and empathy only affected the couple as the other two friends arrived the day after without any flight delays.
