Un musée qui est logé dans un bâtiment magnifique et qui offre un bon résumé de la peinture slovène du XVIe siècle à nos jours. On y fait quelques jolies découvertes de peintres slovènes inspirés comme Pavel Künl, Marko Pernhart, Ivana Kobilca, Ivan Grohar, Rihard Jakopič, Matija Jama ou Marij Pregelj. À voir donc.

The collection was not memorable with a lot of copies.

They have almost exclusively Slovenian artists’ works. Overall it was unimpressive. It was a beautiful building but unsupported by the works on display.

I visited the gallary in the occasion of the Rembrandt's sketches exhibition, and l spent some time in the coffee shop for refreshments. I definitively recommend it (and the National Gallery too, of course).

Un museo d'arte in cui ritengo che le opere artistiche più belle siano costituite dalle statue lignee medioevali presenti nelle prime sale. Davvero pregevoli.
