Wir waren im benachbarten Falkensteiner Hotel untergebracht (Halbpension) und wollten für einen besonderen Abend mal à la carte essen gehen. Das Fischrestaurant direkt am Meer hat eine traumhafte Lage – Blick aufs Wasser und Sonnenuntergang sind wirklich spektakulär. Leider wurde unser Abend durch den Service getrübt. Wir kamen mit zwei kleinen Kindern, bestellten zuerst Getränke für die Kinder, ein Bier und eine Flasche Wein für uns sowie Brot mit Oliven. Nach ca. 15 Minuten kamen der Wein und das Wasser – vom Bier keine Spur. Erst auf Nachfrage kam das Bier 10 Minuten später. Brot kam gleichzeitig, aber ohne die Oliven. Diese mussten wir nochmals extra bestellen, kamen dann zwar schnell – waren geschmacklich aber enttäuschend (Lidl-Oliven in Spanien schmecken besser…). Mein Thunfisch-Steak hatte ich „medium“ bestellt, kam jedoch komplett durchgebraten. Erst nach Reklamation bekam ich ein neues, diesmal korrekt zubereitet – geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber für den hohen Preis (leider) nicht auf dem erwarteten Niveau, insbesondere im Vergleich zum benachbarten Hotelrestaurant, wo der Thunfisch besser schmeckte. Als kleine Wiedergutmachung für die vergessenen Oliven bot uns der Kellner ein kostenloses Getränk oder eine Vorspeise an. Wir haben höflich darum gebeten, stattdessen für die Kinder ein Dessert zu bringen, das sie sich teilen können. Leider war dieses dann doch auf der Rechnung. Erst nach erneutem Hinweis wurde der Betrag kommentarlos zurückgebracht – ohne Entschuldigung oder ein versöhnliches Wort. Fazit: Ambiente, Aussicht und Lage sind top – besonders zum Sonnenuntergang. Leider stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Der Service war unorganisiert, unaufmerksam und insgesamt enttäuschend – kein Vergleich zu unserem Urlaub in der Türkei, wo man sich als Gast willkommen fühlt. Sehr schade, denn das Potenzial wäre da. Wir hatten uns auf einen besonderen Abend gefreut – wurden aber enttäuscht.
