About the Memorial
Rising majestically to 30 meters in height, the monument features a prominent torch that measures 4.7 meters. This striking landmark not only serves as a memorial but also symbolizes the enduring spirit of the affected individuals and the city as a whole.
In 2009, the Eternal Flame underwent reconstruction to preserve its significance and appearance. However, since its restoration, the torch has not been lit, adding an additional layer of solemnity to its presence.
