A small port, but with a really interesting vibe. Both in the morning and in the evening, you can truly feel the atmosphere of this place. Nearby, there are several eateries, a grocery store is just a stone's throw away up the stairs, and it's also the departure point for many tourist boats. It's a place where people pass from one part of the town to the other. It's like the beating heart of Mandre.
Edit / May 2025 - In mid-May, this place looks totally different. Most of the restaurants are closed, and some spots are literally empty — but honestly, that gives it a special kind of vibe. If you’ve got the chance to swing by before or after the season, I’d definitely recommend it.
Just don’t expect Mandra to be anything like Podgora or Makarska during this time — obviously, there’s a lot more going on in those places, even off-season.
Here, it’s quiet, low-key, and yeah, the restaurant options are super limited. But that simplicity actually makes it feel even more atmospheric.
