To my surprise, Ljubjana's very modern airport has no lodging at or within walking distance of the terminal. There's a city bus that goes between here & the bus / train station for a mere 4€, but then you still need to get to nearby lodging. This place was clearly the best combination of price, rating, and close to airport. Even then, the price for the owners to transport you is 10€ each way, and a taxi is 22€ each way. The value of the lodging, however, may compensate for the cost of getting there.||Their web site states that this was a farmhouse built in 1703, and it certainly has that vibe. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the rooms make you feel at home. Ours featured a shower, hair dryer, alarm clock, and TV with about 20 channels, but none in English. It was clean & well-maintained. Free amenities include parking, wifi, and a filling breakfast. Cold beverages are available at all hours on an honor system.||The church bells WILL be annoying if you are trying to sleep past 6am.||There are no restaurants or grocery stores in the immediate area, so you may need to pay for a dinner there.||If, like us, you are looking for a place to spend the night before taking a flight from Ljubljana's airport, this place is a great value.

We stayed for two nights in June. Super nice hosts. Clean and spacious rooms. Animal friendly. Good prices. Splendid breakfast. The landlady even cooked us dinner, when we stumbled in, late at night. Splendid. We would come again.

Příjemný penzion, ve kterém jsme přespali jednu noc. Pokoj byl čistý, nic nám tam nechybělo. Trochu nepříjemné je, že jakmile začnou odjíždět hosté z ostatních pokojů, tak vás to probudí.

It's not the worst but definitely not 4 stars. The rooms are just alright, kinda small. The breakfast is not good. But the worst part about it is the bell that rings every 15 minutes when you sleep, it is SOOOOOO loud (depending on where your room is).

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Es war sehr gemütlich, sauber und ruhig, was genau das war, was ich gesucht hatte. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, was meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Frühstück war wirklich lecker. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen!
