Rudo, or the Eastern Gate of Belgrade, is one of the city’s iconic buildings showcasing brutalist Yugoslav architecture. It’s definitely not the most aesthetically pleasing, with its stark and imposing design, and the whole street on the right side feels quite claustrophobic. However, it’s a fascinating site if you’re into architecture, representing a unique period in Belgrade’s history. While it’s definitely ugly, it’s worth a visit for those interested in this style.
