We hadden een Opel Adam geboekt, maar kregen een totaal ander model. Op zich geeft probleem, zij het niet dat onze auto zoals op de foto's te zien in zijn geheel vies (binnenkant als buitenkant) werd afgeleverd, en toen we hem schoner terug brachten werden er schoonmaakkosten gerekend. Daar kwam bovenop dat we de auto met benzinetank één streepje op de teller minder teruggaven, gelijk €55 tankkosten. De kerel probeerde ons ook nog op te laten draaien voor de deuken en andere beschadigingen die op verschillende plekken in de auto zaten, maar gelukkig hadden we daar wel uitgebreid foto's van gemaakt en kon verdere oplichterij voorkomen worden. Eens en gelijk de laatste keer Carwiz voor ons.

Do not use this company. Just been charged 560 Euros for a tiny scratch on a wheel arch which I’m virtually certain I didn’t cause. Staff just sit smirking - and there is nothing you can do but pay or they’ll claim your whole deposit. These rip off repair charges are clearly how they make this money. Avoid.

Ausgezeichneter Service! Großes Lob an Carwiz Pula! Die Jungs sind wirklich super – professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Abholung und Rückgabe des Autos verlief schnell und völlig problemlos. Das Auto war sauber, gepflegt und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Der gesamte Ablauf war einfach und angenehm. Ich kann Carwiz nur weiterempfehlen und werde ihren Service gerne wieder nutzen! Odlična usluga! Sve pohvale za Carwiz Pula! Dečki su stvarno super – profesionalni, ljubazni i uslužni. Preuzimanje i vraćanje auta prošlo je brzo i bez ikakvih problema. Auto je bio čist, uredan i u savršenom stanju. Cijeli proces je bio jednostavan i ugodan. Carwiz at Pula, Croatia - Do yourself a favour: stay far, far away. If you’re hoping for a peaceful, stress-free holiday, renting a car from Carwiz is a surefire way to ruin it. From the moment you arrive, you're hit with aggressive, borderline bullying tactics designed to pressure you into buying their overpriced, unnecessary insurance. Try explaining you've already got coverage through your booking platform? You're met with condescending tone—and that’s just the beginning. The shift in attitude is instant and dramatic. The moment they realise you won’t cave to their hard-sell scam, courtesy is replaced by contempt. Rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated, the staff seem to take personal offence at your refusal to be exploited. Professionalism? Vanished. When it's finally time to collect the car, you're briskly shown a few scuffs and told, “Take photos or videos—I don’t care,” before being shoved toward a damage report and expected to sign it immediately. No time for a proper check. No courtesy. Just more pressure. Our car was still wet from when it was washed, wheels were wet with some kind of a cleaner. All to make it difficult for you to spot any potential damage that already exists. TAKE ALL THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS YOU CAN. Because the second you return the vehicle, they're ready to pounce. These people scour the car like forensic investigators at a crime scene—under the vehicle, around every crevice—and treat minor wear and tear like vandalism. One minute scratch on a wheel—the size of a grain of rice—cost us 600 Euros. Enough to replace the entire set, but instead we got laughed at when we questioned the absurdity of the charge. “Show me where you can buy wheels for this amount—for a Hyundai!” sneered the staff. And then came the kicker—a thinly veiled threat: “Pay now or we won’t give you any documents for your insurer.” Despite holding a deposit, we were forced to pay on the spot. And what do you know? The price suddenly dropped. So much for their claims about “system-generated charges.” Carwiz isn’t just a poor choice—it’s a predatory operation of a car rental business.

⚠️ Warnung: Abzocke bei diesem Unternehmen! ⚠️ Wir haben über Check24 ein Auto mit Vollkaskoversicherung gemietet und zusätzlich 10€ für die Innen- und Außenreinigung vorab bezahlt. Trotzdem wurden wir schamlos belogen! Vor Ort versuchte man, uns weitere Versicherungen aufzudrängen, obwohl alles abgedeckt war. Der Mitarbeiter versicherte, die Reinigung sei durch unsere Zahlung abgedeckt – pure Täuschung! Bei der Rückgabe wurden wir mit absurden Kosten konfrontiert: Die Sitze hatten nach einer Quad-Tour etwas Staub (keine Schäden!), und plötzlich verlangten sie 150€ pro Sitz für eine angebliche chemische Reinigung, die angeblich nicht im Preis enthalten sei – obwohl wir extra dafür bezahlt hatten! Derselbe Mitarbeiter, der uns das Auto vermietet und die Reinigung bestätigt hatte, stand uns nun frech gegenüber. Auch beim Tanken wurden wir hereingelegt: Wir mussten unnötig viel nachtanken wegen falscher Angaben. Zu allem Überfluss wurde uns vorgeworfen, wir hätten alles fotografieren müssen, um uns zu schützen – eine absolute Frechheit! Dieses Unternehmen arbeitet mit Lügen und Abzocke. Meidet dieses Unternehmen um jeden Preis, wenn ihr keine teuren Überraschungen erleben wollt! 🚨

Finger weg! Leider erst zu spät die Rezensionen gelesen, denn auch uns war bei Rückgabe in der Hintertür plötzlich eine Druckstelle drin. Kosten 1050€ und fast den Flug deswegen verpasst. Die Herren haben höchstwahrscheinlich mit dem Finger eine Delle bei Abgabe hineingedrückt. Nächstes mal werden wir schlauer sein und bei grösseren Anbietern mieten. Bitte seid ihr nicht auch so dämlich.

Przestrzegam przed tą wypożyczalnia! Rezerwacja opłacona z góry przez Ryanair. Na miejscu okazuje się, że musimy ponieść dodatkowe koszty ok 100 euro- za wcześniejszy wylot i obsługę administracyjną , za mycie samochodu, za drugiego kierowcę. Jest mnistwo opłat ukrytych, a na podczas oddania auta stwierdzono, że jest drobna rysa na feldze, której prawdopodobnie nie zauważyliśmy przy odbiorze, za którą doliczono nam 150 euro(!). Przy płatności okazało się że 210 euro, bo jeszcze 60 euro opłata administracyjna. Obsługa niemiła, zwykle cwaniaczki. Omijac szerokim łukiem!

Our Experience with Carwiz Pula, Croatia Spoiler alert: we strongly advise never to rent a car with Carwiz. Our expected cost of EUR 220,- exploded to EUR 780,-. Our advice: Have a Carwiz booking? Cancel it. Know someone renting a car? Warn them. We now fully believe all the negative Carwiz reviews we had read. Our story: Via Ryanair, we booked a 2-week rental in Pula with Carwiz (VW Polo/Renault Clio class) for EUR 220,-. Knowing we’d travel to Slovenia and Bosnia, we informed Carwiz during pickup. This resulted in EUR 80,- (Slovenia) and EUR 100,- (Bosnia) in surcharges. Returning the car at 6:30 AM triggered a EUR 50,- "outside hours" fee. A EUR 10,- cleaning charge was added unless the car was washed and vacuumed. So, before driving a single kilometre, our cost rose to EUR 550,-. Instead of a Polo or Clio, we received a brand-new Jeep Advantage—a nice surprise. Midway through the trip, we discovered a flat tire. We expected Carwiz to help or replace the car. Instead, they told us to pump it and drive 65 km back to Pula Airport. After an inspection worthy of a forensic team, we got another new Jeep. However, we were told the flat tire would cost us EUR 405,- (!). When we requested a breakdown, we were told to wait until we returned the car and claim it with our insurance—highly unrealistic. We filed a complaint with Carwiz Customer Service. After two reminders, we received a reply stating Carwiz Pula is a franchise (ABmobil Rent) and they would respond directly. Eventually, the flat tire fee was reduced to EUR 150,-, but EUR 80,- was added as an admin fee, totaling EUR 230,-. This was on top of all earlier charges. No surcharge overview was ever provided—not in the contract, on their website, or by customer service. There is zero transparency. You essentially sign a contract without knowing what you agree to. We emailed several times asking for clarification and compensation. No real answers. In the end, we paid EUR 780,- for what we thought would be EUR 220,-. To Carwiz: shame on you. You had multiple chances to resolve this fairly. You failed every time. That’s why we’re sharing this—to warn others. Thanks for reading.

Podobnie, jak wielu klientów, jestem bardzo niezadowolony. Auto zarezerwowane przez Rentalcars koszt 70 EUR + pełne ubezpieczenie 57 EUR. To dobra oferta. Na lotnisku obsługa Carwiz informuje mnie, że to ubezpieczenie nie obejmuje uszkodzeń. To nie jest prawda. Ale czytając opinie wielu klientów o problemach przy oddaniu auta i szukaniu starych uszkodzeń, chciałem mieć spokój. Kupiłem ich "ubezpieczenie". Koszt 280 EUR! Dodatkowym argumentem Carwiz jest kaucja 1600 EUR! Ale jak kupisz ich ubezpieczenie, to tylko 300 EUR. Przejechałem autem około 120 km. Sprawdziłem taxi. W podobnych kosztach przejechałbym około 500-600 km. I nie płaciłbym za drogie parkowanie w Puli. Zdecydowanie nie polecam!

Please please avoid these guys. I see similar experiences like mine on google maps reviews. A small scratch on Hyundai Tuscon which was impossible to spot from outside. Only possible to spot from inside after opening the door. I don’t think this was caused by us, by looking at other reviews. They charged an exorbitant 600+ euros for a 1 cm scratch to the inside of the door. Absolute ripoff.

Watch out this is a rip-off! We will never ever again book with carwiz! Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. We lost our deposit (over 800 €) as they claimed a new damage was found, sadly we had no picture to proof that we did not cause the damage. But the "new damage" is very close to an already existing one and is a mirror image of the existing damage. In the event that carwiz tries to claim the same damage from a customer again: The red Hyundai i30 with license plate PU 1082-L has damage on the driver's side bumper visible from above on the black plastic but also from below (not directly visible, only if you lie down on the ground and photograph upwards). Here are the photos of the two damages. Additional insurance was disproportionately expensive compared to the rental costs, almost x7. They bait customers with cheap rental costs and in the end claim new damages and high costs for repairs, so they get a bigger amount of money. They did not explain from where the price for the damage came from, they just claimed it to be over 800 €. They take advantage of the fact that you don't want to miss your flight and are limited in time.

Odradzam – brak uczciwości i brak szacunku do klienta Wypożyczyłem samochód w Carwiz i niestety muszę podzielić się bardzo negatywnym doświadczeniem. Auto zostało mi wydane w stanie niesprawnym – radio nie działało, a klimatyzacja była zablokowana. Zgłosiłem to pracownikowi na miejscu i otrzymałem obietnicę podstawienia sprawnego pojazdu – niestety nikt nigdy się ze mną nie skontaktował. Przez cały okres wynajmu byłem zmuszony podróżować autem niespełniającym podstawowych standardów komfortu. Po zwrocie samochodu firma zgłosiła „uszkodzenie” dolnej części zderzaka – delikatne zadrapanie w okolicy podwozia, które nie było widoczne przy odbiorze pojazdu. Nie miałem żadnej kolizji ani sytuacji, która mogłaby to spowodować. Co więcej – miejsce rzekomego uszkodzenia wymaga podnośnika, by je w ogóle zauważyć. Nie jestem ekspertem i nie wykonuję zdjęć podwozia przy każdym wynajmie – i Carwiz doskonale o tym wie. To schemat, o którym pisze wielu innych klientów w sieci – firma najpierw wydaje pojazd z ukrytym uszkodzeniem, a potem obciąża klienta kosztami. Zdecydowanie NIE POLECAM tej wypożyczalni.
