Amazing choice in the heart of the city. Clean,with amazing design and an heartwarming host. The only negative was the cell coverage in the room as the wifi also. Personally also i would prefer to have the cleaning service and the towel change included in the price but for the three nights we stayed we overlooked it. Surely will suggest it to everyone that visits Ljubljana.

One of the prettiest hotels I've ever stayed in. The manager was incredibly helpful when we arrived. Super central and close to everything you need. One minor thing is that the internet/wifi was so slow it was barely usable.

Great location within walking distance of everything, and depending on your budget you can have a view, too. We loved how easy it was to do activities and have a centrally located hotel that made it easy to refresh, drop things off, etc. Our room, considered an apartment had a functioning kitchen with hot plate and fridge, dining space, jacket space outside of the closet and two luggage racks. The shower was the first full size walking shower we have had in Europe. It had hot water, you need to be careful. The air conditioning was fully controlled by use and was digital,we could adjust according to the heat. It was 95 degrees while we were there and our room was cool and comfortable. It also had a very good full size elevator. Historic palace building that has been adjusted to a boutique hotel. The building had a locked door,making it feel safe and it was very quiet. It also is at the entry to the pedestrian zone. Walking is very easy. The beds were comfortable, there are lots of good restaurants within a five minute stroll, grocery mart 2 blocks down, and an ATM is 3 blocks down, too. We didn't pay for extra housekeeping, we can keep our room clean, but the downside was a 6 Euro fee for refreshed towels. It was really hot and we were showering two times a day. Other than that, we rank it as the best stay of our 7 cities in 24 days.

A centuries old building, quite well renovated, excellent location, well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, television etc. Parts are showing their age but impressive high ceilings and appropriate fittings and furnishing.

We loved this hotel, easily one of the best I've ever stayed at. The room was huge and comfortable, with a fridge, dining table, kettle, microwave, cooking hob, everything you could need. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and had lots of great suggestions for places to visit in the city and surrounding areas. Ljubljana is a lovely city in a beautiful country, we'll be back in the future.

It’s not often you can stay in an actual palace 😀 Barbovi Palace is an apartment hotel in the center of Ljubljana with beautiful and stylishly furnished rooms. It used to be a palace, so the rooms have high ceilings and a luxurious and noble feel to them. In my case, I had a living room with kitchen, a nice and quiet bedroom and a good bathroom with a walk-in shower. The prices are not higher than a normal hotel of similar standard and very fair for what you get. The key hand-over and check-in as well as check-out worked flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Sehr schöne und große Unterkunft in mitten der Stadt. Wir würden sehr herzlich begrüßt und die Dame hat uns alles sehr detailliert erklärt. Schönes, großes Bad, großes Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, Tee und Cafe und etwas Geschirr. Großer Schreibtisch und Kleiderschrank. Es war etwas hellhörig ansonsten perfekt

1700년대에 지어진 궁전을 개조했다고 한다. 댄스홀 응접실 같은 아주 넓은 방이다. 인테리어는 고풍스럽고 바닥에서는 나무 밟을 때마다 끼익거리는 소리가 난다. 다행히 화장실은 최신이라 따뜻한 물 잘 나오고. 예약센터가 매우 친절해서 갈 곳들을 하나하나 소개해주는데 전부 괜찮았다. 별 4.7점정도 주고싶다.

Lovely old place.It was quite clean and perfect location. the room was a little bit cold but it wasn’t a problem( air condition worked very well:) By the way the manager was so helpful. Only one thing, the internet didn’t work very well in my room.

Excellent all around. Location, staff, comfort, are all top notch. Not bad for someplace nearing 300 years old 😀 Lovely courtyard interior that feels much cooler than right outside the door...so nice after walking the inner city or any outdoor activity! Will definitely return if I get the chance!

A baroque palace built in the 1700s and now serving as a boutique hotel, this is an excellent place to stay in the very center of Ljubljana and an easy 15-minute walk to the bus or train station. My apartment was very clean and comfortable, and Wifi was speedy. I appreciated the manager, who was very helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

Hermoso depto, enorme el de 2 dormitorios, elegir vista castillo q encandila a cualquier hora del día! Baño hermoso y super completo y amplio. Faltaba microondas, pero ya los estaban x instalar en estos días. Ubicación privilegiada Super recomendable
