I didn't eat much (just salad, bread and house wine), but others said meat dishes were delicious and huge. What took two points away: - slow service! I saw people leaving because no one'd took their order. Even I spent there 1.5h for my modest dinner. - Wifi not working as advertised.

Warm and cozy atmosphere. We we contemplating ordering a couple of dishes and the owner / head waiter wisely steered our family of four to the Sarajevo platter. Delicious and soooo filling. We really enjoyed our meal and it was an amazing value. When we return we will go back!

One of the two go-to places for proper balkan style food. Tramvaj-Leskovački žar is the go-to place for Serbian-style balkan food (with pork), and Sarajevo84 is top of the game in Bosnian style (replace pork with lamb). Don't expect to eat healthy here: the food is meat-packed and delicious, and as good as it gets outside Sarajevo!

Čas malice-kosila, zadišali so mi čevapčiči, pa sem šel v "čevabdžinico Sarajevo 84" na Nazorjevi ulici v Ljubljani. Nisem bil tam prvič in tudi ne prvič neprijetno presenečen. Prišel sem v skoraj prazen lokal (kasneje se je napolnil), pa vseeno čakal na čevapčiče v lepinji 25 minut. Po 25 minutah sem bil postrežen z črno zasmojeno lepinjo, grenko do neužitnosti in s posušenimi, preveč pečenimi, zasmojenimi čevapčiči. Zahvalil sem se jim in jih priporočil kuharju. Ponovno v čevabdžinico Sarajevo 84 ? Hvala, ne !

Grungy dungeon decor, but dome well. Our waitress was pleasant and helped us understand the choices and what to order. We had what were were told is proper cuisine for the area the restaurant represents. It's basically 1/2 a large round of bread, a cross between a pizza base and normal bread, about 20mm thick. Stuffed with lovely sausages and a pureed red pepper dip. Seems to be called "pol pol" and most of the locals seemed to be eating that. One of the nicest eats we had whilst in Ljubljana.

Sfeervol lokaal in een kelder tegenover de Sloveense Nationale Bank. Het interieur in Bosnische stijl en de toeristische video's over Joegoslavië geven het een nostalgische sfeer. Op de kleine menukaart staan de gebruikelijke specialiteiten uit de Balkan. Verwacht daarom veel gegrild vlees, waaronder ćevapčići. Sarajevo '84 is daarom een aardige eetgelegenheid om kennis te maken met typische Balkan-gerechten en ik kan hun Bosnische runderstoofpot (Bosanski lonac) aanraden.
