De kamers in dit hotel zijn netjes met prachtig uitzicht. Personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en weet heel veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Bij aankomst werden wij direct goed ontvangen, er werd geholpen met het dragen van de koffers en onze kamers en het terras werden aangewezen. Kamers zijn schoon en goed onderhouden. Ook is er een smart-tv aanwezig. Binnen 2 minuten lopen sta je op het strand, hier zijn ook verschillende bars en restaurants te vinden. Bij terugkomst in Split zal ik hier zeker terugkeren, ik raad het aan iedereen aan!

We booked this hotel for three nights (two rooms for two families of four), but unfortunately decided to leave after just one night (although we had to stay the second night as we had no other option at that point). Although we are not overly picky, this experience did not come close to meeting our expectations, and in our opinion, this property does not reflect the standards of a luxury 4-star hotel. I do want to say that the hosts that greeted us were kind and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the accommodations and environment were far from family-friendly and did not match the level of comfort, service, or quality we’ve experienced at other 4-star hotels in Croatia and around the world. Despite the high rating on Booking.com and a nightly rate of $400 USD, the hotel did not offer good value for money. Realistically, it aligns more closely with a 2-star property or a hostel-style stay. Here are a few specific concerns from our stay: 1. Noise Levels: The hotel is located above or adjacent to several nightclubs and beach bars. Loud music played until 4:30 a.m., making it nearly impossible to sleep. The noise from both the music and foot traffic disrupted the rest of both children and adults in our group. 2. Room Size & Comfort: The rooms were extremely small—far too cramped for a family of four with luggage. We couldn’t even open our suitcases properly, and the overall experience was very uncomfortable. There was very minimal space to store or unpack clothes (i.e., no closets, shelves or drawers). It was not a place we wanted to come back to to relax an recharge after a day of site seeing. 3. Surrounding Area: The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was not pleasant. It was noticeably dirty, with garbage scattered around. Although the hotel is very close to the beach and the beach is sandy, it too was unclean and uninviting. 4. Atmosphere: The property had more of a hostel-like vibe, with many young guests drinking and partying on the premises. This created an environment that felt more appropriate for a youth hostel than a luxury hotel, and it was certainly not suitable for families with children. When we raised our concerns and asked to check out early, the owner did offer us an alternative hotel in the city center. However, we had specifically chosen this location to stay near the beach, so that option did not suit our needs. We requested a refund for the remaining nights (or at least a credit considering the hotel rates had dropped from the $400 per night we booked at to ~$150 per night), but were told that one could not be provided. I understand peak season rates but $400 for this room was ridiculous). Although the pictures and description on Booking led us to believe it may be worth it. In total, we spent over $2,000 USD on this booking, which we now consider to have been a poor investment given the experience. While the rooms were clean, they were simply not equipped or suitable for families, especially at this price point. We would NOT recommend this hotel to families or travelers seeking a true 4-star experience. We also strongly encourage Booking.com to reconsider the property's current rating, as it does not reflect the reality of the stay and is extremely misleading.

Host was great, he get 5 stars, but have to say the room was very small. And we have to take turns looking at the view. Bit noisy, probably location to the beach, and fast food. And hottubs are reserved for rooms from 106 and above......

À 400€ la nuit nous espérions un peu mieux! Aucun fléchage pour accéder à l’entrée. Des escaliers en fer a descendre avec les bagages de 15kg, très moyen. Promiscuité impressionnante sur la terrasse. Les jacuzzis (pas impeccables, sable et épines de pin au fond) sont collés les uns aux autres. Il en va de même pour les terrasses. Aucune intimité. La page à côté n’est pas formidable. Beaucoup de monde, que du béton. Le peu de sable présent paraît peu propre… La chambre est petite pour 4, tout en longueur. Le frigo top ne faisait pas de froid. Et pour couronner le tout, on entend tout ce qu’il se passe dans le couloir. Conclusion: beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation… Passez votre chemin.

Avoid at all cost we were very disappointed in the way we were treated we had the misfortune of our room doorhandle dropping off turns out it was held on with only 2 screws hardly sufficient for a pull to close hotel door we were then told we must immediately pay €250 repair fee to then come back and find it had been screwed back on with the same screws do yourselves a favour and avoid.

A wonderful place to relax. Apartament was very clean. A big thanks to lovely lady, who is doing a service there. Her warmth and kindness truly radiate and make you feel right at home. The location is absolutely perfect – just a few steps down the stairs, and you're right on the beach. And right next to it, there's another beautiful beach. It’s simply the best spot to stay! When I return to Split, I will definitely choose Via Mare again. I wholeheartedly recommend it! 🌊🌞

Pokój z widokiem na morze, blisko do centrum ( pieszo ok 15 min). W okolicy dobre lokalne knajpki. Sam pokój ciasny , łazienka wymaga zadbania, w pokoju unosi się dziwny bliżej nieokreślony zapach. Generalnie pokój jak pokój bez uniesień.

The place is great. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. The room was very nice, clean and with very cool and tasteful design. Beautiful sea view and the jacuzzi outside was the extra to make the place even more special. Kazimir was an incredible host. Very welcoming. He was always available and even came to be meet us when we were lost. He also gave great local recommendations. We will definitely go back!

Recent gerenoveerde kamers in een wat verouderde omgeving. Maar zeer servicegerichte eigenaar en personeel. Zeer schoon iedere dag weer. De omgeving is wat rustiger met strand voor de locals. Ietsje langer lopen naar de boulevard maar ideaal als je lekker wil slapen.

We were supposed to stay off-season and the place surrounding the resort looked abandoned. The lack of communication from the owners and the lack of directions makes for an extremely stressful vacation. We wouldn’t recommend this place, though we did find it the next day after we already paid for another hotel stay.
