Byliśmy w hotelu przez chwilę na basenie dosłownie 30 minut,ukradziono nam w tym czasie klapki Birkenstock. Podejrzewamy turystów w Polski. Dlatego że nie było tam wówczas wiele osób 8-10 max Obsługa hotelowa potraktowała nas strasznie,dosłownie jakby chcieli się nas pozbyć i tyle. Potrzebowaliśmy protokołu policji żeby zgłosić do firmy ubezpieczeniowej kradzież mienia,nikt nam nie pomógł w tej kwestii. Brak monitoringu żeby namierzyć złodzieja. Według naszej oceny trzeba bardzo uważać na siebie i swoje rzeczy. Nikt nie pomoże!!!

A bit disappointed with this experience. After paying £2k for a 5 day stay with Jet2, we didn’t expect a run down tired place. Rooms could do with refurbishing, our room had a funny smell too. Hardly big enough to open a suitcase in the room. No shelves to put your clothes on - only 8 coat hangers. Bathroom outdated. Food was good. Can of coke at reception €5.80. No nice beach nearby - Copacabana beach run down. Took Uber to a beach nerby instead but packed. Maro world run down- there is a shopping mall next toil it but half of the shops were no longer there. Wouldn’t come again.

If you want to catch a disease, this is the hotel for you Blood filled mattress, urine stains on sheets, layers of dust, the hotel is a worst than a motel. Check the pictures, they speak louder than words BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT

Had a phenomenal time in Dubrovnik, thanks to Valamar. We did expect an average hotel with some nice views and was blown away by all the amenities. Our daughter absolutely loved Maro World, their giant children’s amusement center. My picky family enjoyed the food, had fun at evening concerts, watched a dance performance and laughed at a clown show. Highly recommend for families with young children!

Ich verstehe die negativen Rezensionen hier ehrlich gesagt nicht. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal durchgehend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und schmeckt wirklich gut. Besonders praktisch fand ich, dass der Parkplatz fix einem Zimmer zugeordnet ist. So kann man sicher sein, dass niemand auf dem eigenen Platz parkt, auch wenn man mal wegfährt. Ein echtes Highlight ist die Maro World – richtig gut gemacht! Von Kleinkindern bis hin zu Jugendlichen (ca. 1 bis 15 Jahre) haben hier alle ihren Spaß. Alles ist super sauber, liebevoll gestaltet und ein echter Traum für Kinder. Insgesamt ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt – ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!

We stayed at Sunny Dubrovnik by Valamar as a family of six (2 adults and 4 kids aged 4–11) for 4 days in Jul 2025, and were really pleasantly surprised. We knew it was a 3-star hotel, so weren’t expecting luxury — some of the décor is a bit dated, and you don’t get all the bells and whistles of a 4/5-star place — but for the price, especially with half board, it was brilliant value. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both great. A couple of mornings we went for a swim first and had a later breakfast — that kept us going most of the day! The pool itself is a bit basic, but it was never too crowded, which made it really relaxing. The lobby area was pleasant and welcoming, with drinks at decent prices — and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s also well located — only about a £10 Uber ride to the Old Town, which is much easier than dealing with buses when you’ve got young kids. But the absolute highlight for us was Maro World — it was a total hit with the kids and gave us some well-earned downtime too. It’s a proper hidden gem and really adds to the experience. All in all, it’s a solid and affordable family option that punches above its star rating.

Odmor u Valamar hotelu je zaista za preporučiti. Odsjeli smo u Sunny by Dubrovnik i zaista je sve bilo na nivou. Svi su vrlo ljubazni i susretljivi. Posebno bih istaknula voditelja restorana (nisam zapamtila ime) i gospođu Cvitu. U Maro igraonici rade divne animatorice Chiara i Iva koje su mojoj djeci omogućile da se osjećaju dobrodošlo i važno. Nice pool, good rooms, great views, right next to copacabana beach. But they really should improve the hotel: bad smell in the hallways, not that clean, one single elevator, the food at the restaurant really needs improvement.

Excellent holiday and would highly recommend. Hotel staff are great, only downside was rooms are a bit dated, slightly small and A/C is very poor and noisy. Overall we had a brilliant stay. Hope to come and stay in the Lacoma Hotel. 😎☀️👌🏽

Rooms are a bit basic but hotel is overall great. It shares a lot infrastructure with other hotels and has the most amazing mini club I have seen. The staff is polite and friendly. Views are breathing

Perfecta relación calidad-precio. Piscina poco saturada, muy cerca de la playa (llevad escarpines). Tiene un área de juegos increíble para los niños con camas elásticas, construcciones… es espectacular. Dubrovnik está a 10 minutos en Uber o 15 en autobús (venden los ticket en la tienda enfrente de recepción). El buffet muy normalito, pero con media pensión puedes entrar a desayunar y comer pronto (abren hasta las 13:00). Las cenan no incluyen bebida, y los precios son abusivos (5 euros botella de agua de 75ml). Habitaciones según lo esperado en un 3 estrellas, baño pequeño, moqueta… para nosotros suficiente.

Wonderful setting and so easy with the family. Everyone had the best time. Pool, beach, food, staff, rooms, view, weather, all top notch and good value for money. We also met lots of other nice guests on the property. Close to the old town for visits. So much fun

we just got home after staying for 7 nights. Lovely hotel clean and food amazing. one staff member is a credit to hotel, the young lady's name is Ena works in dining area she is extremely hard working but also had time to interact and ask if everything is OK very polite friendly welcoming young lady 😊 thank you. we would definitely go back to this hotel. Views are amazing, great food 👌

We have stayed 10 nights in Sunny Dubrovnik as a family of 3. We had a|”Superior” room 2+1. We had asked for a quiet, renovated room on a higher floor and all we got was the quiet room. No upgrade or anything else was offered despite staying for a long time.|The hotel is nice, 2 good pools and very close to the Copacabana stony beach. Sun beds and umbrellas are stacked on top of each other so you have to carry them and set them up yourself. The staff is very polite. Drinks and snacks are very expensive.|Our room was clean but small and had signs of tear and wear. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible; really soft with zero support, so had to ask for second pair. The bathroom was tiny. Aircon was only set between 19-21 degrees so not many options there.|The food was ok. There were a good few options for brunch and dinner but only 1 meat was freshly cooked. There was also always fresh pizza. Not even once was there fresh fish, chips or even ice cream for kids. |We got some Valamar reward points which we could use for drinks or food in all the other Valamar hotels which was nice.|There were some small shops nearby. The bus to town is around a 7 minute walk away and goes every 10 minutes. Maro World play centre is a great option for bored kids.|I’d say that if you’re looking for a basic hotel with full board food, Sunny Dubrovnik is a good option, but if you want a much nicer hotel, choose any other Valamar which are 4 and 5 stars.
