Very basic hotel in good location . The hotel reception staff are not most hospitable, no welcome , no map or anything special. The hotel is in good location in lapad on the beach with a regular bus service. but it’s a smelly older hotel the corridor carpets need ripping up . It has no lifts . The bedroom doors are in desperate need for updating the bathroom ceiling mould and an old toilet a top of the wall . If you don’t get a sea view room , the back of the hotel is very poor we had a view of a carpark and a wall and a neglected garden not the forest view they boost . The food is quite nice only bit cold and everyday pretty much the same and the bar is ok but expensive and no discount for customers and very quiet no ambiance.

Parking is available but has to use a few stairs with luggage to the reception. Service was good, Reception is open 24 hours. No electric kettle in the room. Old but clean hotel.

The hotel is situated in a most stunning location... nice beach rite in front of hotel just no sand only pebbles. The sunsets are epic and walking down to the promenade is 2 mins with some gem restaurants. The rooms are smallish and a bit out dated but very clean. The breakfast is very good and caters for all.. the staff are a bit tardy especially that they only have stairs from road to reception and to carry all the families bags was a bit of task since theor porters are slow to arrive if the even do... All in all a good experience

There is no lift in this hotel This hotel has steps and stairs, from the bedroom to the beack almost 100 stairs but no lift. My knees and hip is still giving me pain.

Highly non-cooperative staff and very very very rude ones. I booked this hotel for my work-related visit, but unfortunately, my flight got cancelled. |I contacted my booking website numerous times, but all I got back was that the hotel is not cooperating with cancelling the booking. |Upon contacting the hotel directly, they were very rude and did not listen to me at all. I told them about the cancelled flight with proof from the airlines, but they refused to cancel with a refund.

Needed hotel for 1 night in Dubrovnik and extremely pleased the stay in Hotel Vis was only for 1 night! Whilst the location is great, with direct access to Lapad Beach, the facilities do not match its 3 stars! When booking, it is stated parking is available, but on arrival there is a mere 5 spaces and it is not free for anything over 24 hours. Rooms are miniscule in size (though clean) and decor is tired and aging. Balconies equal size of room, it would be a struggle for 2 people to sit out and unless you pay a premium for decent view, rooms over look drab car park or outbuildings. Staff were reasonably friendly. Buffet breakfast is offered, quality is mediocre.

Desee irme en el momento que entré por el pasillo y aún no vi la habitación… Vaya estafa, hotel SIN ASCENSOR, NO HABILITADO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS,DESAYUNO Y CENA DE LA PEOR CALIDAD POSIBLE, bebida aparte con precio de agua de 0,75 6 euros. El mobiliario es de los años 70 u 80, da asco literalmente ducharse allí, la cama crujían solo con girarte… un tormento lo peor que me encontrado jamás. Todo grupo que entraba de nuevo al hotel solo hablaba el horror de hotel y es una pena porque la ubicación, playa y vistas son muy buenas, pero este hotel solo busca ganar dinero y no encontrar el equilibrio entre un buen servicio y rentabilidad.

Simplesmente a acomodação é velha. Banheiro péssimo a água não desce , ou você toma um banho em 5 segundos ou você fica com o box alagado. Ar condicionado bem velho tbm, tolhas velhas ! Única coisa boa é a vista maravilhosa e os funcionários . Os funcionários gentis tanto as camareiras quanto os garçom nota 10 pra eles ! Café da manhã ok nada demais .

there is a serious sewage smell problem in the bay effecting a wide area depending on the wind. eventhough sea looks great the noise at the beach due to constructions going on at the bay and the sewage tank smell, swimming is not tempting. the situation is not specific to the vis hotel effects many hotels at the bay.

There are a lot of stairs. The food is not good. The bathroom is outdated with a pull string to flush the toilet. My biggest objection was the rude front staff. I do not leave a lot of reviews or become upset easily, but the treatment by the receptionist Vesna, and the receptionist manager, was not acceptable. There was a misunderstanding about the airport shuttle for our departure. Vesna took every opportunity to tell me I was wrong. It was more important to her to feel superior to me. She could have turned the situation into being the hero for getting us a shuttle last minute, but instead seemed to delight in making me feel small and stupid, and that she was doing me a favor. She was adversarial and antagonistic when it didn't have to be that way. She and the manager were speaking in their language and exchanging side glances and smiles each time I got flustered by her condescending responses. I get that it can suck working with tourists, but the staff need better training in hospitality. The vibe from the staff was disdain and not welcoming. They didn't even pretend to try. The manager's response to my Trip Advisor review made it seem like they were professionals trying to help me, but they were not, and again took the opportunity to point out my mistakes. Blaming the guest and feeling self-righteous and superior is not the way.

The staff were nice, but the room was disappointing. It didn’t look or feel clean when we arrived, and the shower drain was clogged. The room door was broken and had a big gap, I could see out of the room from the bed. The bathroom door was damaged too, like it had been punched pretty hard. Breakfast looked fine, but it had no taste at all. Not worth the price.
