I am a Marriot Titanium Elite member and I just stayed in this hotel. I have to say I was blown away with it. The location, the private beach, the SERVICE was espectacular. The food was delicious. The beach bar servers were amazing, Borna treated us so well. I have nothing negative to say about my stay, 10/10 - the sunset was UNREAL.

Predivan hotel, intimnog ambijenta smješten uz more sa privatnom plažom. Dojam cijelog hotela podiže osoblje koje je jako ljubazno, pouzdano, profesionalno, uljudno, srdačno, nasmijano, vrijedno i vješto! Great location and very friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay overall. However, the breakfast was disappointing and far below the standard you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Many items were often missing and the quality just wasn’t there. A shame, because everything else was excellent.

Electrocuted my partner then tried to gaslight us into believing it was our adapter. No care for her safety, CEO more interested in taking your money than if you have a good time. We were initially having a great time but now understand where the 1 star reviews come from. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

Pros: Hotel is in a stunning location. The views and swimming area made our visit. Staff were helpful and made me a fresh americano in the mornings. ||Cons: Food overpriced and the cold buffet selection at breakfast was uncovered which meant lots of wasps and bugs were landing on the food. 20 euros to get into Hvar town. Make sure you bring trainers for walking! Only 20 mins.

TIP - Book the Exclusive room with big balcony and lounges and wonderful view ||This hotel is run down and running on minimal staff. The breakfast was appalling, don’t bother paying for this . There is no coffee in the room or tissues . The towels are not big enough to dry yourself and we were given a Queen size bed cover for a King room. This was the same in the second room we booked . ||There was once a pizza oven outside working , this is not in operation now. Empty ice cream fridge, and curtains in the dining room area blocking what is behind. |No staff operating the gym or spa . The furniture outside needs an update .||I thought I was booking a boutique hotel , Podstine is not that. 3 star at best .||People staying in Villas come down to the concrete edge on water and use the bean bags . Anyone comes down really .||The hotel is far away, it’s a good walk in the heat however we did not mind that especially when the taxi is 20 Euros each way.||I would be very careful recommending this hotel and if you do come and have a look first beforehand .||A really disappointing stay.

Slightly outside of the town center, just a 5 min drive or taxi ride. Rooms are nice and free breakfast is good. The hotel has a small beach that is very pretty and plenty of parking if you have a car.

Beautiful setting, but very secluded, a 20 euro uber fare from downtown, Arrived early, was told we could use pool but not towels. Finally got into room, it was small, dark with a view of back of stairwell. Not like the pictures. We tried to get another room, were told it was sold out so had to leave and find another hotel at the harbor. We still had to pay for the room we never used. Staff was not at all helpful, worse in all our travels.

Billed as a 4 star hotel - which is true of the beautiful location, a very good breakfast buffet, and a great massage therapist, but everything else is 2 star at best. The rooms need updating - for example, there was no electrical outlet near the bedside tables or anywhere near the electric tea kettle. The bathroom was minuscule and the towels weren’t big enough to wrap around your body and were thread bare and thin. Dinner at Amo was disappointing and would not recommend dining there when there are so many good options in town. One last thing to bear in mind - there are no beach umbrellas. If you want shade near the water, you need to get one of the chairs under a tree. All that said, we did have a very nice couple of days there, and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The Podstine is in a beautiful location & we enjoyed a great room with sea view. Having read reviews that said it was a nice 20-25 minute walk from the port, we walked there our first day with luggage. With the heat & steps involved, I'd suggest getting transport to &from the Hotel with your luggage but then enjoy the stroll along the waterfront to & from Hvar Town when not toting suitcases. The beach is definitely just big rocks - not a beach. You get into the (cold) water off little ladders. There is more of a typical Croatian beach (little rocks) just around the corner.|We liked: The breakfast buffet, views, property itself, relaxing nature of our stay.|We wished for these things: Simple in-room coffee (only had tea even after request.) More or relocated outlets. None by the beds for charging electronics, not even one where the hot water pot was sitting! They're by the bidet and halfway up the walls... Water sports equipment to rent? Umbrellas at seaside lounge chairs? Option for ferry port pickup like we saw some hotels had?|It really is a lovely hotel, I just felt for the price, there could be a couple simple tweaks that would increase the value perception.

The water/beach access, service, and proximity to town was great. The beach side massages I got were some of the best I’ve ever had. The masseuse was incredible, thorough, and very kind. I would go back for the massage alone! Definitely recommend Hotel Podstine.

Enorm genoten van ons verblijf hier, het is een stukje lopen naar het oude centrum, maar het hotel is prachtig gelegen in een baai. Goede service en faciliteiten, heerlijk.

My boyfriend and I stayed here beginning of June 2025 and it was just lovely. We had arrived here after spending a couple nights in Dubrovnik and this was a lovely bit of luxury away from the madness of Dubrovnik. The room was lovely with a balcony looking over to President Beach. There were plenty of sun loungers available so never had to worry about not being able to get one down by the water. Noticed the Viking scuba diving place next door which we would’ve considered if we were in Hvar longer. The food at the restaurant was gorgeous too, we ate there both nights. And breakfast was beautifully presented. Every member of staff we spoke to were incredibly helpful. Beautiful hotel, highly recommend

The location is exceptional, with a stunning private beach and breathtaking views.|Unfortunately, the experience was tarnished by the restaurant — extremely expensive (even by island standards) and truly disappointing in quality.||The biggest issue was the attitude of the staff: dismissive and unwilling to listen. We stayed 5 nights and reported a curtain problem on the first evening. We were told all rooms were the same, but after comparing with the one next door (same category), it clearly wasn’t.||Every morning, we were woken up at 5am by sunlight and again at 5:45am by noise from the cleaning room right next to ours. We had booked a superior room!||Despite several requests, the manager never showed up. A beautiful place, but sadly poor service and a lack of consideration for guests ruined what could have been a great stay.

Last days of an amazing stay at hotel Podstine. The hotel looks right onto the bay and the paklinski islands. ||The hotel was calm and peaceful with plenty of space for everyone. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. ||We spent most of the day lounging on the sunbeds and having a dip in the crystal blue waters. There’s a little pebbled beach round the corner but we were happy with the sand free setting at the hotel. ||The restaurant and bar service were good and affordable. The rooms were decent (bathroom could do with a little up date). ||They have a gym and wellness center. I recommend treating oneself to a great massage by Harun who is also training in reflexology. ||And it’s a lovely 20 minute walk along the coastal promenade to the old town of Hvar. ||Planning to come again.
