Definitely the grungiest and scariest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. DO NOT BRING CHILDREN THERE!! It is locally known as a no-tell hotel for prostitution work and has a set of bizarre rules for guests to follow. The room itself is scorching hot as the “air conditioning” is just for show but doesn’t work at all. Our rooms had roomy was rotted through the broken shower tile straight through the wall into the bedroom, dirty flooring and stained bathroom. It’s located in a shady part of town; literally on “the wrong side of the tracks”. The breakfasts were a farce. After one night we moved over to the Westin for about €20 per night and was absolutely luxurious. Spend a little more or stay at a hostel and I bet you get better value for your money.

I booked Hotel Laguna Zagreb based on the photos, but the reality was very different. The room was dirty, outdated, and nothing like the pictures online. Furniture was old, carpets stained, and the bathroom was not clean. While the location is good and the staff were polite, the overall condition of the hotel was unacceptable. I would not stay here again.

Badezimmer schimmlig und nicht geputzt. Zimmer war nicht gesaugt und staubig. Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und das Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen weil es zugeschraubt war. Frühstück war nicht frisch und auch nicht sauber. Für keinen zumutbar. Waren vor 6 Jahren schon mal war top aber jetzt flop.

Hotel in Zentrumsnähe. Freundliches Personal. Wir reisen jedes Jahr nach Kroatien und nutzen das Hotel als mehrtägigen zwischenstopp zum Shoppen. Es wird viel umgebaut und modernisiert. Wlan funktioniert sehr gut. Frühstück Auswahl ist kleiner geworden. A la carte essen dafür umfangreicher. Wir bleiben dem Hotel treu und sind gespannt was die kommenden Jahre bringen.

The room was filthy. They informed us that they had forgotten to clean it. They said they would have it cleaned immediately, but we left the room, but no one came. The air conditioning wasn't working. We told the reception about it, and they said they would turn it on, but it didn't work. It's far from the center. The breakfast is very poor. The street is more comfortable than this hotel.
