This hotel is located at a really nice location. 100m from the first beach, and in the middle between Zlatni Rat beach and Bol city. Each direction is a 10 min walk. Hotel has a pool in front, with free towels too. Food was good, great variety for both breakfast and dinner, with some snack food from 12-17 offered. Room we had with a sea view was great, clean and tidy, with a really nice bathroom. It is worth paying extra for the sea view room. Staff were very friendly and nice, quick on their feet. Highly recommended if you are staying in Bol.

Positiv: - Die Nähe zum berühmten Strand Zlatni Rat ist unschlagbar - Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden - Strandtücher kostenlos erhältlich Negativ: – Trotz Werbung als "dog-friendly Hotel" völlig ungeeignet für Hundehalter: Strikte Hunderegeln mit schriftlicher Androhung in einer Broschüre für Hundehalter von Strafen und sogar Rauswurf bei gelegentlichem Bellen. Man fühlt sich regelrecht unter Druck gesetzt, wenn der Hund sich bemerkbar macht. – Am ersten Abend regnete es und wir wollten mit unserem Hund draussen im überdachten Bereich des Restaurants essen – dies wurde kategorisch abgelehnt. Unser Hund fühlte sich allein im Zimmer unwohl, war jedoch ruhig in seiner Box mit Beschäftigungsknochen. Auch das wurde untersagt mit dem Verweis auf ein früheres negatives Erlebnis. Dass daraus pauschale Regeln entstehen, ist in einem hundefreundlichen Hotel nicht nachvollziehbar. Wichtig: Die Entscheidungen bezüglich der Hunderegelungen im Restaurant kamen ausdrücklich vom Management des Hotels, die Mitarbeitenden selbst nahmen jeweils Rücksprache mit dem Restaurantmanager, hatten jedoch keinen Handlungsspielraum. – Mitnahme des Abendessens ins Zimmer war ebenfalls nicht möglich (obwohl Frühstück aufs Zimmer gegen Aufpreis angeboten wird). Letztlich mussten wir extern Pizza bestellen welche wir, ÜBERRASCHUNG! doch im Zimmer essen durften, widersprüchlich und enttäuschend. – Die auf der Website beworbenen Annehmlichkeiten für Hunde wie Futternapf, Spielzeug oder Kühldecke haben wir nur auf Nachfrage erhalten, obwohl dies bei Booking mitgeteilt wurde. – Shampoo in der Dusche war nicht aufgefüllt, die Zimmermädchen sind nicht sehr Aufmerksam. – Dusche war undicht, was zu einer Überschwemmung im Bad führte welche wir mit Handtücher selbst gelöst haben. - Die Zimmer welche Nördlich gerichtet sind, werden am Morgen von Lieferanten und lauten Lieferrollis geweckt. – Beim Frühstück liefen Ameisen über gewisse Tische sowie Essensreste am Boden wo Ameisen sich bilden. – Kellner beim Abendessen nicht aufmerksam, wir hatten kein Getränkeservice während des Essens obwohl mehrfach an uns vorbeigelaufen wurde. - Sehr viele streuner Katzen welche auch von den Gästen gefüttert werden, da das Essen in der Halbpension all Inclusive ist. Keller sollten dort mehr reagieren, durch die Katzen fühlen sich die meisten Hunde gestört und somit nicht wohl. Wir reisen viel, haben sowohl in 5-Sterne-Hotels als auch in günstigen Hostels und Airbnbs in ganz Europa übernachtet. Leider war das Bluesun Hotel Borak eine der enttäuschendsten Erfahrungen, insbesondere in Bezug auf Gastfreundschaft und Servicequalität. Einige Mitarbeiter geben ihr Bestes, andere wirken leider überfordert oder gleichgültig. Fazit: Wer mit Hund reist und einen entspannten Urlaub erwartet, sollte dieses Hotel meiden. Die "dog-friendly"-Werbung ist irreführend. Auch unabhängig vom Thema Hund gibt es in puncto Aufmerksamkeit, Sauberkeit und Flexibilität erheblichen Verbesserungsbedarf. Ich kann das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ovo smo ljeto iskoristili priliku i proveli nekoliko dana u hotelu Borak. Sami hotel je vrlo lijep, sobe su iznimno čiste, a hrana raznovrsna i odličnog okusa. Parking je velik i može se pronaći hlad, a naplaćuje se 9€/dan. Lokacija samog hotela je super, za 10 min pješice ste na Zlatnom ratu koji nudi mnoštvo sadržaja. Posebno bih istaknula profesionalnost i uslužnost djevojaka s recepcije- Lucije i Jasmine. Bile su nam na raspolaganju za svako pitanje, dale nam preporuku što obići na otoku, gdje jesti… Došli smo ranijim trajektom na otok pa smo i uranili na check in, ali one su rado pričuvale našu prtljagu i obavijestile nas čim je soba bila spremna. Čak su i ponudile da se opustimo na bazenu dok čekamo te nam htjele ustupiti i ručnike za korištenje kako ne bismo otvarali svoju prtljagu. Lucija i Jasmina su djelatnice oko kojih bi se svaki poslodavac trebao potruditi da ih zadrži jer doprinose iskustvu gosta prilikom posjeta Zlatnom ratu.

Naj še enkrat napišem mnenje, po uspešno rešenem zapletu z dodatnimi storitvami in dodatnem plačilu ( service charge ) na recepciji pri odhodu. Moram pohvalit vodstvo hotela, da se je odzvalo v tem primeru in uspešno rešilo zaplet, z vračilom denarja. Bivanje v hotelu je bilo odlično, lokacija, storitve, hrana, zaposleni, čistoča, vse je vrhunsko. Priporočam !!

Ich hatte einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt im Hotel Borak. Mein Zimmer war modern, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Balkon bot einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Das gesamte Hotel strahlt eine gepflegte Atmosphäre aus. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit – vom Empfang bis zum Service im Restaurant. Ganz besonders aber die „Tante Rosa“, welche stets um das Wohl der Gäste gesorgt hat. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und jeden Morgen abwechslungsreich. Auch das Abendessen in Buffetform war lecker und vielfältig. Der Pool ist sauber, großzügig und bietet ausreichend Liegen. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen und komme selbst gern wieder! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub – bis bald!

Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption jnd im Restaurant, saubere Zimmer, leckeres aber nicht so vielfältiges Essen. Extrem enttäuschend, dass beim Check-In die Parkplatz-Gebühr zusätzlich berechnet wurde (9 € pro Tag) und wir unser Auto unmittelbar neben dem Hotel im Wald auf einem Schotterparkplatz abstellen durften. Äußerst schlecht für Familien mit Kinderwagen zugänglich. Sehr schöner Ort, ruhig und sauber, aber sehr windig - wir würden es Familien mit Kleinkindern, die noch nicht laufen, nicht unbedingt empfehlen.

Wir kommen schon seit einigen Jahren in dieses Hotel und waren immer mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden. Heuer hat das Hotel einen Stern (4 Sterne) dazubekommen und wir haben uns schon auf Neuigkeiten gefreuten, der Preis ist natürlich auch um einiges gestiegen. Wir sind nun den 2. Tag hier und müssen leider feststellen das es nur einen höheren Preis gibt, aber sonst keinerlei Neuigkeiten, außer einen übermotivierten Poolboy der die Handtücher bewacht wie sein Leben und glaubt er ist lustig nachdem er dich 3x fragt ob du dir bei der Zimmernummer sicher bist. Heute hat er uns um Punkt 19:00 aus dem Pool geworfen und von den Liegen verjagt, mit der Info wir können morgen um 8:00 wieder kommen. Schade, das es jetzt mit 4 Sterne nicht mehr erlaubt ist am Pool die Abendsonne zu genießen. Wäre besser er würde die ganzen Gläser von den Getränken der Bar bei den Liegen abservierten damit davon im Poolbereich nicht so viele kaputt gehen. Wir werden wohl nächstes Jahr etwas neues suchen.

Naš boravak u Hotelu Borak bio je izvanredno iskustvo koje ćemo dugo pamtiti! Hotel se nalazi na savršenoj lokaciji – okružen borovom šumom, svega nekoliko minuta hoda od prekrasne plaže Zlatni rat i centra Bola. Ambijent je miran, priroda očaravajuća, a more kristalno čisto – pravi raj za opuštanje. Posebno želimo pohvaliti osoblje hotela, koje je cijelom našem odmoru dalo poseban ton. Konobari Nikola i Elvira te dečko iz Nepala izdvojili su se svojom ljubaznošću, profesionalnošću i toplinom – uvijek nasmijani i spremni da ispune svaku želju. Također, Dario, zadužen za ručnike kod bazena i plaže, svaki dan nas je dočekivao s osmijehom, šalom i čistim ručnicima – prava pozitivna energija! Zahvaljujemo se i recepciji na korisnim informacijama vezanim uz povratak u Split i organizaciju transfera – sve je proteklo bez stresa i vrlo profesionalno. Veliko hvala i kuhinji na iznenađenju i ukusnoj torti koju su pripremili za rođendan moje djevojke – bila je to predivna i pažljivo organizirana gesta koja nas je iskreno razveselila. Sobe su čiste, udobne i moderno uređene, s balkonima koji nude predivan pogled. Hrana je bila raznovrsna, ukusna i svježa, a cijeli ambijent restorana ugodan i opuštajući. Hotel Borak toplo preporučujemo svima koji traže savršen spoj prirode, komfora i srdačnog osoblja. Mi ćemo se sigurno vratiti! Hvala!

Lovely rooms, clean and modern, weird with the window from the room into the bathroom but there's a curtain to pull across to give you privacy. Pillows were heaven. Opted for a balcony (no view) , ended up with a bit of a seaview. Staff were fab and everything was well organised, plenty of info on sister hotel facilities. Food was excellent, varied every night with fresh cooked meat/fish, great salad bar with varied options. Breakfast was same everyday but nice and varied choices (shakshuka, hash browns, fresh fruit, pancakes etc.). Water at dinner is expensive €4.80 for 2 person bottle but same price everywhere locally. Able to eat outside which was fab. Pool ideal and no fighting for sunbeds in July, clean towels everyday for pool/beach. Location was amazing, walking distance to bol town and zlatni rat beach (lots of closer small beaches as well) via a shaded promenade. Very much hotel for adults, wouldn't recommend for kids as nothing for them bar pool. Gym was cold and enough bits of modern equipment (2x treadmill, bike, crosstrainer, weights, yoga mats). Only criticism is no iron available (and reception point you to their ironing service which is €4 for a dress) We loved it here and first time we've talked about coming back to the same hotel twice.

This was not my first time at Borak hotel. Beside the location (at the beach cost), all the amenities were great. Staff is very nice, rooms are clean, and the FOOD IS AMAZING.|Also one more thing to mention (some may find it important) - there were not too many kids in the hotel, so it was very calm and quiet. I think families with kids go more to Elaphusa (hotel next door).

Thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Sun beds always available in the morning , towels provided and the pool was never over crowded ( we were there in June, clientele older) . Breakfast was freshly prepared and varied ( we were b &b) and the room was clean and well appointed. Location perfect. |However, the best thing was the staff. Ana, the manager sorted out our room issue ( Jet 2’s description omitted the fact that the window with the garden view was very, very small). Ana handled the situation very promptly with honesty and integrity. Her leadership skills seem to be reflected in other staff members too. Overhearing an experienced waitress explaining to a new waitress what she needed to improve on, but reassured her that she was doing a great job. That is how you retain staff. |The waiting staff, bar staff, pool gentleman and cleaning staff were 10/10. |I would recommend and revisit this lovely hotel.

We came back two days ago - went for 8 nights with my wife. The hotel is located on a walkway to the Zlatni Rat beach. In front of the hotel and across the promenade surrounded by pine trees there is a nice beach with turquoise water. Bars and restaurants are nearby so the location is perfect. Hotel food is great. Every night there are like 3 types of fishes (tuna, swordfish, sea bass, squid...). Everything is prepared that day and is really fresh. The rooms are clean and maintained everyday. The stuff are polite and treat you with respect. The hotel offers a free usage of pool, gym. The parking is also in offer(which is extra pay but it is not so expensive). Will definitely come back and I recommend this hotel to all types of the guests: families with children as well as pairs. The Bol is perfect place for rest - i was on Hvar, Mali Losinj, Cres island, Rovinj... But the Bol is one of the best places i visited together with my wife on Croatian part of Adriatic sea

Just come back from a week at the Bluesun Hotel Borak, Wow what an absolutely beautiful hotel, great location right opposite the beach, lovely pool and amenities. The staff were very professional and attentive and could not do enough for you. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Siamo stati ospiti di quest'hotel per 4 notti. La struttura vanta un'ottima posizione a soli 10 minuti a piedi dall'attrazione principale dell'isola: la spiaggia del "corno d'oro". Inoltre gode di un ottimo affaccio sulla pineta antistante e sul mare. Camere spaziose e confortevoli, con un design semplice e moderno. In dotazione teli mare e possibilità di accedere alla piscina privata dell'hotel. Abbiamo usufruito del pacchetto mezza pensione buffet variegati e cibo di buona qualità! A completare il tutto, un personale gentile e disponibile. Posto consigliatissimo, l'isola di Brac ha conquistato i nostri cuori!

Hôtel 3 étoiles qui pourrait mériter bien + En effet accueil et chambre de qualité. Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de balcon. Le petit dej et dîner sont très bons. L’hôtel est parfait pour se détendre et relaxer car très calme. Pour finir son emplacement est super entre le centre ville de Bol et la plage Zlatni Rat, tout peut se faire à pied sur la promenade pédestre qui plus est, à l’ombre. Le seul point négatif reste la réservation du taxi pour repartir à Supetar le dernier jour fait par l’hôtel à notre demande. La standardiste ne m’a pas prévenu du prix, le taxi prend 91€ alors que nous avons payé à l’aller 20€ pour deux
