I definitely do not recommend anyone stay at world wide hostels or main square hostel. The receptionist nags when asked any minor question. I have stayed in over 40 hostels around the world and this is one of my worst because of how they treat guests. What’s even worse is that on Wednesdays they promote a beer pong tournament in World Wide Hostels, a sister hostel of Main Square Hostel. I enter with my friend Tom and we win second place. However, the aussie who was in charge of the event and working at the hostel REFUSED to give me my money and started making up rules on the spot. Complete and utter nonsense. Don’t go there, find another place. It was never about the money, keep it for yourself👎🏻I don’t think the staff cares one bit about if you have a good stay or not. i believe this is my first ever negative hostel review.

This is my favourite hostel I've ever stayed in! Such a great area to stay in right in the center of everything, and even though it's a quieter hostel it's easy to make friends and socialize. Everything you would need or want to do in Zagreb is at most a 20 minute walk away. The air conditioning was awesome and such a relief as I stayed here when it was 35 degrees outside. The free breakfast was simple but filling with free coffee, milk, cheese, meat, cereal, and juice. The beds are well designed with lots of storage space in each cubby (and a large locker). The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Because the frames are wood, you don't hear your roommates moving around very much and it makes for a great sleep. The pub crawl was very fun and the employees are the nicest I've ever interacted with at a hostel! They love their jobs and are very sweet. The only downsides are the wifi (very slow in my room but faster in the common room), and the bathrooms being small and not well ventilated (it gets very hot when someone showers). However, even though there are only two toilets and two showers in the women's bathroom, there was never a line. Honestly the perfect hostel. Highly recommend.

Room was clean and staff were nice when we checked in/out. We were upgraded to an apartment due to a double booking. The room was nice but had a double bed which we were not told about which would have been nice considering we booked for two beds, not just two people. The wifi was very in and out and not very good even when working. The hobs were directly under a socket and due to there not being an extractor fan, we had to keep wiping the moisture away which felt very dangerous. The bathroom sink was cracked and there were lots of stains in the carpet. Also the door lock to get into the apartments was extremely dodgy and didn’t always work. However, the social events with the sister hostel were great and the hostel was extremely accessible to everything in town.

The best of both worlds between the WWW hostel and other normal ones, You get a great nights sleep in the pods which are very private but you can still do all the fun activities and meet loads of people. Ideal location in the centre of the city and very reasonably priced- i would 100% return one day

In a capsule which was like my own "little contained-space" (but a nice-sized one really with no shortage of where to put small personal items around the mattress inside the capsule), it was a comfortable stay at this hostel where the breakfast was also a "good-enough one" I would say to get the day started and where also in the vicinity are the small-sized food place for like wok-fried meals ("right beside" the building with this place) and the mini-supermarket but really with quite a variety of food & miscellaneous items (just across the small street in front & slightly "to the left" from the hostel building).||And at the old-town area of Upper Town (with charming heritage buildings on like just a "slightly-higher ground" with gentle slopes & not-too-difficult stairways), it's a nicely-convenient location of this hostel "right at the bottom" of the area & pretty much "right beside" the sizeable Ban Jelacic Square (with beautiful buildings all around & also a number of "city-tram lines" on one side) from which it's also just like a 15-to-20-minute walk to those sites a little outside the old-town area (the spacious lawn with a "king-like equestrian statue" in front of the Train Station, the Botanical Garden for a pleasant walk around although not a very sizeable one & the National Theater in like a sprawling shape on a big city-block with also a "fairly-breathtaking beauty").

The accommodation was very satisfactory, providing all basic hospitality services and needs, including a kitchen with daily breakfast.|The bedrooms were located with good beds and pillows along with a locker for each resident.||The location was very convenient, being right next to Zagreb's main square and public transport system.

Two friends and I stayed at this hostel recently, the location was excellent and all main tourist sites were very close. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and lockers (with locks!) were provided. The kitchen and common areas were also clean, and they provided a free breakfast which was very much appreciated! They also offered a luggage storage for a small fee, which we used. The staff were all friendly and kind, and all of the people in the hostel were nice. The bathroom shower lock didn’t work though - just something to keep in mind, but it did not negatively impact our experience! But we really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling through Zagreb!

Hostal perfecto para tu visita a Zagreb. Situado en la plaza principal de la ciudad pero a su vez permite la tranquilidad para el descanso. Volvería a repetir sin duda :)

El alojamiento está perfectamente ubicado, las camas te permiten privacidad. En calidad precio/servicio es una buena opción. Hay actividades en el día y en la noche para los huéspedes. Punto a mejorar el aseo de los baños porque es deficiente.

Great location in historical old part of town. Amazing architecture all around and great food options nearby. BUT.....! Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. Bars get out on the street below and drunken noise is very loud between 2-4AM. I was awake every night between those hours. Other than that, clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Free breakfast is OK, common area is alright. Incident of inappropriate activity in the dorm that made me very uncomfortable as a solo female, thankfully staff dealt with it quickly, but didn't offer to move the individual or offer me a different dorm or any compensation.

I always choose this hostel when I come to zagreb, The only problem is that the woman's toilet is too small for the amount of guests. I wish they could implement it. But the rest is really good, comfortable, good breakfast, location, the Argentinian staff were super friendly!

ottimo ostello proprio in centro a Zagabria al terzo piano..camerate da 6 letti con armadietto ..pulizia costante letti puliti e lenzuola...asciugamano bagno da noleggiare...cucina e zona relax ..offre compresa la colazione self un po' smart ma sufficiente..prezzo sui 30 euro notte...personale simpatico...solo una segnalazione... porte dei bagni rumorose...porta della camera con badge difettoso...meglio cambiare le chiavi armadietto.. comunque sicurezza è ok
